Make Out

Such a great find. This place is super cozy and modern. Perfect for coming to do some work on your computer and relax. It’s bright inside and the green plans give a natural finish. This is a vegetarian restaurant and they have a great selection of food, smoothies and coffee. I ordered the avocado toast and an iced latte. It took about 10 minutes to come out, so don’t come here in a rush.... but I’m glad it took so long because it shows the thought that is put into the food. The dishes come out picturesque and they taste delicious. THE AVOCADO TOAST IS ART!!! However, I also ordered an iced latte and it was gross. It was sour and I couldn’t drink it, got the latte and the avocado toast I spent $20. It’s a cool place, would want to try something else there, but my meal wasn’t worth the price.

I drove to this place just for the raw vegan food. Ordered a carrot roll (was very tasty and fresh), pistachio truffle (was delicious too) and a cacio e pepe kelp noodles, this one quite disappointed. It had too much arugula, like 60-70% of the bowl was arugula, which was overpowering the noodles and just way too bitter I couldn’t eat it. Also it was missing some of the ingredients listed on the menu: olives and sprouts. Maybe they just replaced them with arugula, which ruined the whole dish. Besides that it would have been a great dinner. Another thing, they don’t have a bathroom. And service is ok.

Make Out is a cute, casual vegan cafe, in a fantastic pedestrian area across from the Culver Hotel. The spicy carrot rolls are delicious! Also enjoyed the pistachio truffle! It would be less wasteful if there’s an option to eat-in with washable cups, plates, etc. All cups and containers are to go. Also if you would like deserts, they’re in pre-packaged plastic containers. Some of the containers are Biodegradable plastic, such as the condiment cups. The coffee is organic and locally roasted- it’s not clear if it’s shade grown (rainforest friendly) or fair-trade. My cappuccino was perfect- just the right amount of non-dairy milk/foam. 🅿️ Free 1 hour at Watseka public parking garage ($1/hour afterwards) Staff is very patient and helpful.

Liked the juice..not a big fan of the wraps (had ordered spicy carrot roll) at make out. Really liked the Melrose juice.

An amazing raw food place. Clean, delicious, organic.... made with love you can feel it in your body. Great energy in the food!!!!! Highly recommended 😊

Phenomenal food. It is both delicious and healthy. You feel clean and light, yet satisfied after eating it. The zucchini noodles and seasonal pumpkin pie are out of this world.

Vegetarian review! When I first looked at the listing it did not specify vegan Fair, so you can imagine my surprise when I arrived with another person who is not on any dietary restriction. Regardless of the fact we both enjoyed our meals very much and there lemon blueberry cream cheese cake was delightful. I was surprised, the food is very good and the service is kind and gentle the only issues I had were the tables were not cleaned up and it was rather pricey but I can understand that is what you get when you have to make vegan sorcery work.
