Makedonia Palace Hotel

Good afternoon. I stayed at this hotel for three days on a business trip. I spent almost all my time at the hotel. I liked the rooms, especially the rooms. I can also say that the food was really delicious. The kitchen has an incredible view, and there is also a terrace overlooking the sea, and you can go straight down to the embankment. I highly recommend this hotel. ☺️

It’s not the newest - you can see and feel that. It’s far from being a top hotel in Europe. However, service -reception, gentlemesn outside hotel, kitchen, and location near the waterfront - are great! On the other hand, a big surprise was the additional charge for takeaway coffee, despite having paid for breakfast, which I didn’t use. Btw, you’ll find plenty of cafes nearby with BETTER and cheaper takeaway coffee. It’s not worth it! ( Coffee)

We had a very nice stay in this hotel for about 5 nights. Being located in an easily accessible location, it was very convenient for us. Also, we got a room facing the beach, and it was awesome. The rooms were in good condition and spacious. The hotel staff at the reception and restaurant were very professional and kind. At the departure, our flight was in the early morning, and the staff members volunteered to provide us with breakfast as take-away. We would love to go there again.

One of the most prestigious hotels in the city, beautifully located, with rooms generally in impeccable condition—although the carpets are noticeably worn. The real issue is the breakfast. Despite being served in a lovely, spacious setting, the selection is limited, and there is an additional charge for items such as omelettes, eggs Benedict, or even a cappuccino. Having already paid for breakfast, being charged again is very disappointing for a hotel of this price range and supposed luxury.

Modern, luxury hotel right on the promenade and waterfront in Thessaloniki. The rooms, service, food and drink were all first-rate. The views are spectacular and it's great to walk out of your hotel right onto the promenade. Thessaloniki is a beautiful city with a troubled past, but it is well worth a visit.

It doesn't get any better. The room view is wonderful; accommodations 1st class. Staff very pleasant, professionalism. Dinner at this hotel was a wonderful experience. From servers to chef's everything was better than expected. Flavor of our food was executed masterfully. A great treat.

Terrible service upon checking in the drain of the shower was completely blocked with the water overflowing and flooding the bathroom I complained and they offered me a room which is not downgraded but at the same level which was almost ridiculous given that I had to unpack and pack again when I was quite tired and just wanted to relax. really the room should never have been sold with this huge draining issue. The management response was out of an Excel spreadsheet just a dry apology from a staff manual. I did explain that I had issues with the amenities last year when I visited the hotel again and there was zero acknowledgment of this comment either. They made no effort to compensate for the inconvenience although they were aware that the room was problematic. Not the kind of service you would expect from this kind of establishment and it is such a shame as this hotel is historic but the management has no idea how to run it

Great hotel near centre of thesaloniki. Staff was very polite, clean and comfy rooms, great breakfast. Free valet parking and much more. Mostly recommended.
