The room was clean, but the internal heating did not work satisfactorily. The staff attended as soon as called for malfunction and they were very nice. The hotel had very good breakfast. Delicious food, bakery products, all egg variants- some extra however- good coffee and very good staff. Very nice fruit buffet, good quality fruits, very good salmon, and cheese selections. Check out the prices of the bar before you order.

Pros: The location of the hotel is great as it is approximately 10 minutes by foot to visit the "White Tower" and approximately 20 minutes by car for the airport. The food is very good, made in an open kitchen which you can see the cooks preparing it. The breakfast is delightful. Some rooms have a nice view of the port. Cons: For a 5* Hotel I've seen better rooms for ~200E per night. Even though the food is great it is very pricey. Some things, like coffee are of extra charge during breakfast. (Filter coffee is FREE of charge)

I stayed at the seaview room on 5 Oct. It cost around €400 per night. But the room was outdated. The balcony looks like an old apartment’s balcony even though the view was good.||I was disappointed that even though we ask for a queen/ king bed, we were given 2 single beds. The front desk said it was the last room so we could not change room.||Besides the cons of the above, i compliment the service rendered at the breakfast buffet line. The breakfast spread was impressive too. Location and bedding was good too.||Would not really recommend from the point of value for money.

Fantastic Hotel in a great location, lovely pool area, and great facilities. Rooms are modern, clean and with all the amenities. This is our second stay here, however what is a little disappointing, on this occasion the management have adapted a policy of charging extra for Breakfast items ( fried eggs, omelettes, certain coffees). This seems quite strange for a high end 5 star hotel, I would have given 5 stars had it not been for for the penny pinching policy at Breakfast.

After reading good reviews of their spa services, I booked hammam bath (Ali mama) to try out. I was not disappointed. It was one of the best spa experiences I have had, even better than that in many other great spas, including in Istanbul, Budapest, London, Rome, etc. ||The therapist was so good, a physiotherapist-massage therapist-beautician all in one. Afterwards, one feels so relaxed and revitalized. ||In fact I booked again to go back for another session of Ali mama hammam bathing service before my week long holiday came to an end. I’m looking forward to going back again next time when I am in Thessaloniki.

Opulent immediately comes to mind here. Full of marble and luxurious character, this is a great place to stay, on the water, with walkable access to the center of town. The food reflects all the best in Greek cuisine - and the staff is so so friendly. Why a 4 and not 5? Dear Makedonia … that room next to the pool that starts with a G and ends with an M needs a serious upgrade. For everyone else - it’s a solid 5 😃

We stayed three nights in a junior suit. The hotel is just outside of city center. The building has a character and very well maintained. Our room was big enough and well equipped. Good housekeeping. This is most probably the most expensive hotel in Thessaloniki. It is quite weird in such a hotel to charge extra for a coffee other than filter, our a fried egg at the breakfast! We waited 19 minutes for our tea and after three reminder they served boiled water in a pot with two tea bags on a small dish! At the bar, it would be better to serve a "made to order" Mojito instead of a ready mix kept in room temperature and poured on ice cubes!

Beautiful hotel but everything is overpriced with in the hotel||My son bought an ice cream and then we sit at the cafeteria to have coffees. They told us that is not allowed to eat outside staff in hotel. Very poor approach.||In breakfast they charging espresso, omelette as extra. Very poor approach while you paying 300 euros per night.
