Makis camping

Makis offers both the best campsite and great apartments. Everything is spotless—the toilets, showers, beauty room, and even the tents provided for guests. The apartments are spacious, well equipped, and the terrace is especially cozy. The surrounding garden is beautiful, and friendly cats often wander around. The café has a small mini market with all the essentials, and breakfast was tasty and fairly priced. Makis himself is very welcoming and attentive, speaks good English, and is always around. No wonder my parents stayed here more than 20 years ago—and I’ve already returned for the second time myself. See you again soon, maybe with a tent 🙂

We had read the best about Makis camping and the reviews were exactly on point. It is the cleanest camping I have ever visit, and I have visit many. It is very quiet although most the visitors are groups of friends at their 20-30s. The beach is 50m from the camping and their is a bakery, mini market and other stores 200m away. The shade at the tent points is very good. The coffee shop inside the camping has reasonable prices. Makis is always there to help you if you need an extra mattress or something else. You must bring your own kitchen appliance if you want to cook although there are some pans for common use. Toilets and showers are always clean. One thing could be improved is the number of refrigerators and freezers, on the busy days there is limited space. I don't have an opinion about the rooms.

One of the best experiences in a camping. Everything was great, super clean, felt like home. Kyrios Makis helped us with everything. People who work there are super friendly and helpful. Smiles everywhere. We even ordered our food through a phone call just before the kitchen closed. 10/10 will come back for sure

Our family of four camped at Makis for three weeks this summer during the busiest part of the summer season. We were amazed by how calm and clean the campground was! The ladies that cleaned were so sweet amazing, and the staff was friendly and helpful. 10/10 recommend!!

A true gem in the Cyclades! The cottages are spotlessly clean and nicely decorated, but the real highlight is the shaded garden, peaceful and quiet, with hammocks, pergolas, and a stunning view of the mountains. The campsite is located very close to a nice beach and just a 10-minute walk from the port. P.S. There’s a big box with toys for kids in the garden ❤️

Amazing stay with Makis camping, we stayed at the studios and they are really comfortable, clean and cozy. Stephanie and Yorgos were really nice hosts, they assured that our stay had everything we needed. Definitely we’ll come back :)

It was a very nice, clean camping. Good vibes. A shop with normal prices for budgetpackers and food. I realy recommend this camping if you like camping and wants that it's almost like a hotel. Next year I'll definitly come back again to enjoy Sifnos the most cheap way but still good way.

Without a doubt the nicest of Greek islands I’ve ever visited; stunning scenery and such warmth / hospitality..Stephanie and Makis who run this site are super friendly and helpful, they make you feel right at home from the moment you step onto the site. Great location (50m) to the beach and 150m to the tavernas / shops and port..
