Makrillviken Hostel

An amazing place to be there when you are in Smögen. I along with my Wife and a friend of ours decided to go to Smögen and I found this hostel. We stayed there for a night. The people at the reception are really quite friendly and nice. The rooms are extremely clean, kitchen, common areas were really spacious and clean too. The view from the hostel is mind-blowing. We also swam near the hostel and also booked a Sauna. This place is a must stay when you are in Smögen. Will definitely revisit here during the summers.

My husband and I stayed here when visiting Smögen. We wanted to stay 2 nights but unfortunately there was only one available (a real shame as the next place we stayed was awful). We were greeted by a very nice lady who showed us around and then took us to our room and said if we needed anything just to come and ask her. The room was clean and modern. The location is fantastic as you are right by the sea, with plenty of swim areas. We would highly recommend anyone visiting to stay here.

Seaside view with good price/quality ratio. We stayed at one of the three newly refurbished rooms which are great! Key here is location!! With five metres to the sea, it doesn't get any closer than this. Very friendly staff on top. Definitely worth it. Need more cutlerin the kitchen though...

Simple but nice with a fantastic view. There is free Wi-Fi but only near the reception (no pun intended)
