I wouldn’t normally go out of my way to write poor reviews, but I have never experienced service this poor. I ordered an oat Matcha, it was pale green, I sent it back because the taste was really not good and instead of an offer to re-make the drink or even a simple apology, the complaint was vocalised through the restaurant to the manager who made the drink and decided it was appropriate to come over to the table and condescend me on how it wasn’t watery. Matcha is made with water and matcha tea, so the claim that it simply cannot be watered down is just untrue - the nature of this man’s attitude was so poor, he simply walked away when he didn’t get the response he wished for. After the matcha was left on the bill, and I didn’t want to pay for it (I had one sip and sent it back) the manager again came over to the table and proceeded to condescend me, stating “why should I apologise to you”, explaining that because it wasn’t to my taste he does not have to take it off the bill. I’ve worked in service and hospitality for 10 years and never have experienced such distasteful behaviour from a fully grown man, he seemingly has a behaviour of not taking accountability as I can see from other reviews…I wouldn’t support a place that thinks this is appropriate.
