The coffee is very good and it's also good that even though it's a smoking cafe, the ventilation works well so you can't smell the smoke much.
Unfortunately, the attitude of the staff is absolutely terrible. I ordered coffee and asked them to bring me a croissant in 30-60 minutes, they smiled and agreed. I was working and waiting for it and then when I went back an hour and a half later to finally remind them about the croissant, they said they had sold them all. I was starving by that time (they don't have anything else to eat apart from that) and was really disappointed.
When I said that I had asked them to bring it to me, they said, 'No, we don't reserve them, we don't do it, we don't do it'.
– 'Why didn't you tell me then when I was ordering? I'm very hungry.'
– 'You'll find something else to eat, we don't do it.'
– 'You could just at least have said sorry.'
– 'Why would I say sorry? We don't do it. You didn't ask, we don't do it.'
When I thought the service was already bad enough, another guy came and made it much worse. He started almost shouting at me saying that we (who are 'we'? I've been to this place 1-2 times in one month) come and always say something; it's not their problem—we buy cappuccino and work for 2 hours. Maybe that's because they skip some parts of the order? When I said they had just lost the client, they couldn't care less.
Incredibly disappointing service.
Any normal cafe with decent service would simply have suggested that I take the croissant straightaway or not sold them all after already agreeing. They could have at least told me that they had made a mistake and sold them instead of leaving me waiting hungry for so long, and they could have had the decency to apologise when asked about it.
Polite staff certainly wouldn't have become aggressive and accused a paying customer of anything.
