This has been a long pending review. I came with my parents, wife and a 3 year old daughter and we had a great experience. The variety and craftsmanship catered beautifully to every generation. Each of us found something that we loved, and the attentive service made the experience seamless and memorable. Unisha went above and beyond to help us, showing exquisite designs she knew we would be interested in. She was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely kind throughout the entire experience. This is by far the biggest and most popular jewelry store in the block. We could tell as soon we walked in, as next door stores barely had any customers, but this place was packed, pretty much all associates were busy with someone. The store has huge variety in all sorts of jewelry ie necklaces, bangles, rings, and earrings. They have excellent inventory across all price range. There are discounts on products based on ongoing offers and promotions. We got to work with Unisha, who was patient and supportive throughout the shopping. We spent over an hour and tried several items before making our final decision. She packed the purchase for and explained all the policies and benefits in details. For sure this has become our preferred store now in this area.

Malabar is a big jewelry store. Unisha was very friendly and helpful. We literally went around the entire store trying on items. Unisha was super patient and showed us different pieces. Overall very welcoming vibes in the store. All customers seemed to have a good time. Very bright and clean inside. LOTS AND LOTS OF VARIETY (rings, necklaces, bracelets etc). I will recommend this place if you are looking for something nice for friends and family.

I have mixed reviews about the Store! They have a philosophy, when you buy from them any products and Pay, they are happy & cooperative, When you have bring their products for issues, defects etc. NOW you are trouble maker customer!! In USA, it doesn't work like India! There is Consumer Affairs division which can protect the Customer, Period.

We had a very pleasant shopping experience at Malabar. We are returning for the second time. We asked for the same sales person Neha. it was a very pleasant experience discussing our requirements with her. Neha was very helpful in showing all the jewelry That was meeting our requirements. After we had made Neha had offered us the very best prices possible. We have made our purchases and we are satisfied as customers when we come next time we will again ask for Neha!

We were in this area for gold shopping and Tanishq did not have lots of options in Men's rings/bracelets. I checked Malabar. They have an impressive collection of Men's items, especially bracelets. I did not look out for women's items, but at first glance, it looked like they know what to keep to tempt Indians. I was interested in bracelets and Reshma shah helped me a lot. Gold shopping takes time, checking- trying- whether it suits you or not, etc... I was confused between 14 grams and 22 grams ones, here Reshma did not force me to buy a heavier one (unlike other sales agents), she has given the suggestion and finally, I bought one. I took some photos and sent those to my wife (you need your wife's approval on gold shopping... kidding... (no, I am not)). A few stores in the area won't allow taking photos of their gold items but Malabar did. Finally, I bought it for $1075. There was a negotiation in making a charge, and by default, Malabar charges more than its competitors so be mindful of it. The store is located at the prime spot so you can't miss this. It has 3 locations in the USA- New Jersey, Chicago & Texas

I think selection here is somewhat limited. But folks understand Desi taste and work with you patiently. However I do think if you ever need to return something it is not the easiest people to work with. They will ask all sorts of questions and proofs. Make sure when you are getting something you make digital copies as well as take picture of your salesperson. Some big box member only shops gives you better jewelry for your buck. I would go there instead.

Dear Management, I have always been a loyal and trusting customer of your establishment, but I am deeply disappointed and upset by the experience I had yesterday when I attempted to sell the gold bars I had purchased from you. After completing the transaction, I was assured that a same-day wire transfer would be made to my account. However, the payment never arrived. When I followed up today, I was told that my bank had refused the payment--an explanation that is both absurd and highly unprofessional. When I suggested an alternative method of payment, such as issuing a check, I was informed that the "boss" was unavailable and that I would have to wait until tomorrow to receive it. This lack of urgency and accountability is astonishing, especially in today's business environment. What if I had urgently needed that money for a life-or-death situation? How can you treat your customers, particularly loyal ones like me, with such disregard? Not only have I lost trust in your business, but I also missed out on a significant investment opportunity due to the misinformation and lack of care shown by your team. For years, I have been a good customer, never asking questions or causing any inconvenience, and yet this is how I am treated. I am heartbroken and frustrated by this experience. Moving forward, I will no longer buy anything from your establishment and will advise my family and friends--over 450 people in total--not to do business with you either. Fraudulent programs to cheat customers by signing up for some monthly payments and make it impossible to contact anyone in any store of Malabar in the United States. We paid for a few months and credit card changed and there is no automatic payment plan - if you forget to pay, you loose everything you paid earlier. STAY AWAY FROM THESE FRAUDS.

Great service. Bought 2 sets of bangles for my wife as a return customer. Neeta aunti was very accommodating with us and helped us secure a great deal that we couldn't resist. Place tends to be very busy and chaotic during the weekend. For a big place/name such as this, options for certain items seemed too limited. But, there is probably something for everyone and every occasion. Will definitely return again and recommend others to check this place out.

I wanted to rate negative for my purchase at Malabar Gold and Diamonds, USA. I did the online purchase of two bangles and a long chain. At first, they charged only for one bangle and long chain. They did not provide the tracking id and upon multiple reminders, they said that they had charged only for one one bangle and asked to pay for the other. After paying for the second bangle, they did not invoice it properly. They charged extra. overall it was one of my worst experience. I even wanted to escalate the issue. However none of the representatives contacted me via phone.

I visited the store for a repair service for a gold chain that was purchased in Malabar a few months ago. Leena helped me find a new one and as an exception was able to match the price as well . She is very kind, helpful and professional, highly recommend

Nitaben is a great advisor and sales rep who takes her time to show what you want and goes above and beyond by showing other great options which you may have missed.

Went there for purchasing few items, thought that giving them good business would encourage them to be polite and respectful but manager Amar seems to be a very sharp tongued and unprofessional person. He remarked "we are hiring, I can give you a job". We were astonished at his comment as to where did that come from. I guess he doesn't know the most important part of working in sales is talking to the customer respectfully. You are charging me thousands of dollars and you are making egoistic and judgmental remarks about your client. Your salaries are run by your patrons and thinking yourself bigger than than that shows your ignorance and arrogance. He needs to read his clients better, most of us can hire him and not the other way!

If I could I would give 0 stars. Me and my parents where looking to buy a full bridal set. Necklace, earrings bangles everything matching. When we walked in we saw one employee free so I went up and immediately fell in love with a piece on display. I asked for the price, and while on the phone with whoever the employee says $29000. The price was not bad so I asked are the diamonds in the set real? The employee aggressively says of course they are real! So I asked do you provide us with a certificate stating the diamonds are real? He says no diamonds come with certificates, in a very aggressive and demeaning tone. My father looks at me astonished at how rude the employee is. I then ask, well if you don't give us a certificate, if you have a diamond tester would you please test it so I know that I am buying some thing that is real. He then play pulls out a diamond tester, has the audacity to say you cannot challenge me and if this turns out to be real you have to buy it. And when I say I do like it but just want to make sure it is real, I may even like something else. But once I know that these are really real I have no problem. He puts the tester back and says I don't have time to tests everything for you. I have never been so disrespected and disgusted by a shop in Edison. So we walked to Sona jewelers and found the perfect bridal set. Even though we paid a little more there we were treated respectfully. Please do not spend your money at a place that can not back up there words. And if you do buy something here ask for CERTIFICATION. The only reason they wouldn't want to test it is if it was fake.
