Malagos Garden Resort Review Our stay at Malagos Garden Resort was a mix of beautiful experiences and some compromises. Room & Facilities - The rooms don’t have cabinets, and there’s no refrigerator, so you can’t store cold water or drinks inside. - The shower room has very slow water pressure, and the hot water isn’t really hot. - When requesting items for the room, customer service can be quite slow you may even need to follow up with the manager. Resort Experience - The grounds are stunning, and the Chocolate Museum is truly a highlight. The photos and videos speak for themselves. - However, be prepared: everything is priced in dollars, and overall, it’s quite expensive. - Meals are not buffet-style, which can feel limiting if you’re staying for several days. Stay & Atmosphere - We stayed for 7 days at the Mednilla Corners apartment. During December, the place was noisy at night, with people running and shouting between 1am–3am. - One unusual incident happened when a guest next door accidentally climbed onto our verandah at 2am after locking himself out of his room. Overall Malagos Garden Resort is perfect for family day trips, with beautiful surroundings and unique attractions. But for longer stays, be ready for higher costs, slower service, and some room limitations. Have parking available

We just drop by and availed their day tour with lunch yesterday. The place has improved since the last time we've been here. The staff are good, especially the staff who toured us around the facility. He was so accommodating and delivered perfect service. I was just sad I didn't got his name. The food was good, we tried the cold version of sikwate, the chocolate cake and others which is so good. This place is good for family, friends and business. We just didn't tried checking in. Hope to try staying next time.

One of the best tourist spots in Davao City.. Their land area is perfect for team building activity. Bird show is awesome and very entertaining while their buffet lunch will fulfill your starving stomach after the show. Chocolate factory inside is one of the highlights during your visit

Whenever work gets really stressful and I feel like binge-eating, this buffet is always my go to place. It’s a perfect escape since it’s located in the Baguio district. Food never disappoints. Hoping that drinks will be included in the payment next time hehe

A day trip today. This is the first time here. It was nice. Some of the playground equipment and cages were a bit worn. I enjoyed my day. The only thing I complain was their butterfly exhibit and the Museum. It is hard to keep butterflies in numbers in exhibit so understand the limited ones they had. However, the museum was nicely bulit but the specimins on display and in their insect drawers were bad. One on display were all falling apart. The ones in the drawers were mostly dust. Destroyed by insects. A few moth balls would had kept them intact. I would like them to clean it up and re-stock the specimins. That would help a lot. The insect drawers themselfs were nice.

We went for a day trip with family and availed the buffet for lunch. There is plenty of food to choose from and it was delicious! If you're a bird lover, we highly recommend watching their bird show because it was entertaining and spend some time in their bird feeding dome to see more adorable birds. If you're with kids, chocolate making is a must-try. The kids had fun and chose their own toppings. The weather wasn't that good during our visit, but we managed to enjoy the trip. The kids also loved feeding the ducks and goats. If you're in Davao, Malagos Garden Resort is a must-see.

Went during the weekend and it was horrible. There were no options to enter the place without paying for buffet lunch. Upon entering, the park was rusty and unkept. To top it all off buffet lunch was absolute carnage. No real queues or proper organisation which resulted in many people cutting in line and a massive amount of people in the buffet area. So disorganised and off-putting. A massive disappointment after our lovely walk through the Philippine eagle conservation centre. Waste of money, wish I could give no stars.

I’ve yet to try staying here overnight, I’m sure it’s peaceful too.

Absolutely loved this place and definitely worth the trip! Malagos Garden Resort has acres of land you can explore for hours, as they have a bird park, butterfly sanctuary, and much more! They have bird shows regularly scheduled and a feeding zoo where kids (or anyone for that matter!) can experience feeding sheeps, rams, and goats by hand! I had the opportunity to feed birds and have pictures taken while having parrots on my shoulder and arm! You can also try feeding koi fish as well! There are tons of activities for kids, from obstacles courses, to learning more about different wildlife species, to roaming free at the multiple playground sites in the garden! It can get very hot and humid during the summer, so make sure to wear sun block and some insect repellent as well. You may even want to consider bringing an umbrella for an extended visit. The Milagros Chocolate Factory is also on the premises, so anticipate having the opportunity to customize and purchase some of the local chocolate! I would highly recommend visiting Milagos Garden Resort if and when you ever decide to visit Davao! Go check it out!
