This place is really nice! You can choose all the ingredients for your soup, which makes the experience even better. The staff is super friendly 😊 I go there almost every second week and highly recommend visiting this place

The taste is very nice and authentic, lot’s of choice on the food and sauce. I like the soup base a lot, including traditional flavor and special soup base like tomyong and curry! Love it :)

Once you get assigned a table, you can grab a plastic bowl and head to the fridges at the back of the restaurant. There you will find a super rich array of ingredients, with much variety even for vegetarian options. Once you are satisfied with your choice, the staff will weigh it, then ask you to select a style of cooking, and get it to the kitchen. You can then make your own dipping sauce with any combinations of the ingredients in the table behind you. Truly a fan experience! The taste is amazing and the place is very nice to reach, with a bike lane right outside

Real good malatang. And all flavours in the mouth dances real good . It has less seafood options but would definitely recommend for the original mala flavours Also the milk tea is must try

Enjoyed the dry spicy pot (干锅, would recommend. It also came with two portions of rice. So it makes sense to get a bunch of ingredients for it and then share between a few people. The malatang soup flavor was way too mild for my liking tho, it's basically a noodle soup. Didn't try the other flavors. Prices on par with other restaurants of this type. Wish they had a bit more meat options.

Highly recommend the Mala Xiang Guo! The Mala Xiang Guo offers customizable spicy levels, making it accessible for less-spicy person. The foodstuffs are fresh, and the chef takes care in preparing them, for example the YouTiao are cut into parts and added to the pot at the last minute, preserving their crispy texture without letting them get soggy from oil or steam. (And i really recommend the boneless chicken feet, if you like eating it. Some of them in the picture have already been eaten, so one portion is enough for 2 person at least.)

The Mala Xiang Guo here is absolutely delicious and authentic! The flavors are rich and perfectly balanced, just like in China. The owner is always very kind and thoughtful, often offering complimentary appetizers, which makes every visit even more enjoyable. This is truly the most dedicated and high-quality Chinese restaurant in Munich. Highly recommended!

It’s a nice concept for sure. You pick a bowl, add your meat and vegetables, weigh them and tell them how you like them. It’s like a hot pot but it’s made away from you and then brought over. I kinda liked the stir fry my friend ordered more but this concept for nice too. Getting to try different meats and vegetables was quite a fun and curious experience.
