Maldà Singular Hotel

Couldn't have asked for a better last minute hotel in Barcelona! They were able to accommodate an early check-in, and even upgraded me for free when I was checking in!! The room is gorgeous with ~12 foot ceilings, crown molding, and floor to ceiling windows and a Juliette balcony. Clean, comfortable, beautiful. While we waited for the room to be done being cleaned, the reception manager chatted with us and gave some great advice for how to best navigate the city for the plans we had that day. He also provided recommendations for other areas to check out, and we really appreciated the local knowledge! Great location - couldn't be more centrally located.

Yana at the front desk was fantastic!! She gave us great advice on amazing food spots and bars. Very friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel was amazing. Private. Quiet. Clean. Amazing service. Definitely will be coming back

Perfect location for a 1st time stay in Barcelona! I'm so glad we stayed here for our first trip. It's really in an unbeatable location. Clean, comfortable rooms with great service. We felt very safe walking to and from the hotel in the evening and the rooms were quite spacious and very comfortable to relax in.

The staff was helpful before our stay. We paid $650 for 2 nights. . We arrived to find that we were overpaying by $100 per night. Management admitted that our room was the smallest on the property and we were paying the highest room rate. On top of that, our bathroom was filled with mold. It was gross. Daniel tried to move us, but the available room while larger wreaked of sewage. He promised to help us, but continues to lie and push off the responsibility to Expedia. Expedia claims management at the hotel was unwilling to help us. We also did not like the shady entrance going through a tattoo parlor. Upon walking around, we found a gem of a hotel. Hotel Catalonia Catedral. It is a 4 star hotel. Great location,line brand new, with large rooms. They also have a great restaurant and a rooftop pool. That is where you want to stay! This would have cost us $450 for 2 nights vs. $650 for 2 nights.

We stayed in a Grand Deluxe room and paid over €350 for one night, but there wasn’t even a shower cap in the bathroom. However, the hotel is new and well-maintained, and the reception managers were very friendly. The location is excellent!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Location in the heart of the Gothic Quarter had lots of sites to see and shops to visit. Rooms were great. Concierge staff was very helpful and suggested great restaurants within short walks from the hotel. Definitely plan to return to the hotel on our next visit to Barcelona

This is an excellent hotel in Barcelona! The room was very clean and spacious and the staff were incredibly helpful and kind. The location is great for walking around the city and finding places to eat, shop, and observe the city. The hotel is secure at night behind a gate and an elevator that requires a code. If I return to Barcelona in the future I will definitely stay here again.

This was a great hotel considering the price and location. The rooms were a bit small but it was super clean and everything we asked for we got. The staff were super helpful with calling taxis, getting us locations to watch the match and giving us tips. The location was perfect!! 🤩 We loved our time in Barcelona!
