"With a view of St. Patrick’s Cathedral, this sleek four-star hotel feels cozy and minimalist; the rooms are large and sunlit with big, comfortable beds, flatscreen TVs, coffee/tea makers, desks, free Wi‑Fi, and spacious bathrooms with good water pressure — and I particularly love the breakfast buffet, which offers lots of variety and fresh fruit." - Matthew Kepnes

Great hotel in a great location. We had a large room with a double & single bed. A lovely big bathroom with big shower. |Hotel is ideally located for the shops & sights with St Patrick’s church nearly next door. The airport bus stop is a stones throw away too. |Breakfast was good with lots of choice. We ate in the restaurant one night which was ok! Great dessert but meals were just ok.

We had yet another very enjoyable stay here in early July 2025. The hotel is well situated for walking access to the city centre plus the Teeling distillery and many other central attractions. |Yet again the room was very well equipped, clean and had a nice shower room/WC. The beds are fantastic and comfortable. |We were so pleased to see the marvellous Mia working there still. She really is an asset to the company and deserves special recognition. All the staff we encountered were very friendly, polite and helpful. |We will have no hesitation in staying here again, the next time we’re over.

A good location for a short stay in Dublin. We stayed for one night upon our arrival in Ireland and it was very comfortable. We arrived very early hoping to store our luggage and found that our room was ready and for an extra fee we were allowed an early checkin. That was helpful as we were tired and could relax before setting out to explore the area. The staff were very helpful.||The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. It's close to St. Stephen's Green, shopping areas, St. Patrick's Cathedral and more. A very nice feature is that it is easily accessible by the Dublin Express from the airport. The 783 coach stops right outside the hotel.

We recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a decent experience. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, and most of the front desk staff were courteous and helpful. However, we had an unfortunate interaction with one of the ladies at the front desk during check-in. While we were simply asking a few questions about hotel parking, she was dismissive and treated us condescendingly - as if it were our first time ever staying at a hotel. It was an unnecessary and unpleasant tone that stood out in an otherwise smooth visit. Thankfully, the rest of the staff we interacted with were professional and friendly, which helped balance things out. The hotel itself is well-maintained and in a convenient location.

Lovely hotel and very central. Came here as partners daughter was having a heart procedure in a nearby hospital. Luigi the night manager was so helpful - he helped us to book transport to the hospital the following morning, gave us advice with nearby amenities and was generally wonderful at his job. A great asset for any hospitality setting!

Google
A lovely modern fresh hotel that is clean and delightful to stay in. Excellent location for walking to most of Dublin’s attractions. They were quite a few staff on reception who were wonderful and friendly, but they did seem to want us to use the automated terminals. We like talking to people, so we tended to use the staff that were there!

Great location, bus stop right outside and great places to eat nearby. Check in was delayed and we were given complimentary coffees for the wait. We stayed there for 3 nights but was a bit annoyed since I had to ask for the tea trays in the room to be topped up (you'd run out of milk in 2 cups). Overall, great experience - highly recommend.

Close to the heart of the city, good transport links. Very friendly staff. Our much needed tea and milk amenities were replenished every day and the room very tidy and clean. ||The air was so dry however in the room. The fan would not stop running in the bathroom and noise from the hallway travelled really easily. Any other room shutting their door woke us up.

Yelp
Hotel rooms are clean but do not buy the breakfast. It's a buffet that isn't well managed. The eggs were watery and cold, toast and potatoes were stale, the smoothie was uneatable, and the fruit was dry. The manager was snarky when we asked for a refund saying the food was hot and that I just need to wait for a fresh batch to come out. There goes €32 down the drain. Won't ever stay here again.

Yelp
Our one night stay at the Maldron Hotel Kevin Street was brief, but pleasant. (+) Friendly service at the front desk. Upon our early arrival, we were immediately checked into our room. No questions asked. This was awesome and greatly appreciated! Our wake up calls and arrangements for transportation back to the airport were all handled well with no hiccups. Outstanding! Likewise at checkout, the gentleman working the desk was friendly and accommodating! (+) Room was spacious (at least compared to London! lol).Plenty of room for the 2 of us to move around comfortably. (+) GREAT location! St Patrick's Cathedral is literally right next door. Church of Christ is about a 5-10 minute walk down the street and the Guinness Storehouse I'd say about 15-20 minutes walk away. (+) You can tell this is a newer property as it is very clean and looks more modern than other properties in the area. (+) great shower and water pressure (-) no fridge in the room. This would have been nice to have. (n/a) never had a chance to enjoy the bar or breakfast since our stay was so short. I will definitely return to Maldron Hotel Kevin Street upon my return to Dublin one day! 4 stars. Yay! I'm a fan.

Yelp
Avoid this hotel at all costs!! My family received terrible and inhumane customer services from this hotel. After trying to cancel a reservation, staff told us they would try their best to assist us with a free and easy cancelation, but just a few minutes later another worker informs us we will be charged the full amount and there is nothing we can do about it. Do not book at this hotel if you think you may want to cancel because they will not care in helping or assisting good people. Will remember this next time we stop in Ireland for a family trip.

Yelp
Clean, comfortable, reasonably priced and ideally located between the city centre and our student son's flat. Close to everything! Front desk staff was kind and always ready to help. The breakfast buffet was ample and had more than enough to satisfy all in our party, including our vegan son. We would gladly return.

Yelp
This the first hotel we've used in 25 years that -doesn't have wash cloths -doesn't have a refrigerator -doesn't have a microwave -doesn't have a bathroom in the lobby -doesn't have a way to get into the hotel late at night -doesn't have complimentary lotion -doesn't have an ice bucket in the room -doesn't have a pen and pad of paper We really needed all of the things above at some point during the week. Needless to say, we're unimpressed with this new hotel. However, they do seem to be the only hotel we can find in Europe where breakfast is free. And the location is good too

Yelp
Very convenient location, clean, modern with great comforts very different from other Maldron hotels I've stayed in before. Small lobby, a restaurant with many tables and very, very good security. You need a room key just to access the door where the vending machines and elevators are located. Then, you need to swipe your key in the elevator in order to get to another floor. Good selection of breakfast foods. The rooms are comfortable, clean and not cramped. They have shampoo, body gel, soap, hair dryer, large towels, a safe and a unique and wonderful shower that made it difficult to actually get out of the shower, because it felt so good. No tub. Just like the other hotels I stayed in across the country, no face clothes. Extra pillows in the closet. You need to insert your room key in the slot when you enter in order to activate the electricity. This is a great way for hotels to save electricity. You take your key with you and everything shuts down. The windows do not open and the temperature control did not appear to cool the room off as I hoped, but I found all hotels with or without AC complicated. It's rare to need AC in Ireland so I was thankful they had something that made a difference with changing the air. They also have a USB port and ample electrical outlets. Free WIFI throughout the hotel and rooms.

Yelp
This hotel is more than adequate for a few day stay but I don't think I'd want to stay much longer. Much like everything else in Europe, the room is small! Between two beds crammed in there and a few suitcases you can guarantee a stubbed toe daily. We arrived hours before check in and I assume the staff was sick of looking at us on the lobby so they got us a room much before check in time. Greatly appreciated! The breakfast is really good. I'm not sure if it's included with the stay since we were on a tour and everything was prepaid, but it was more than adequate. They had a good bit of healthy selections too. There were a few annoyances that were listed in other reviews. Not having a bathroom on the ground floor was seriously annoying. The washcloth thing was annoying too but I've never seen washcloths in European hotels anywhere. Toiletries left much to be desired too. But for a quick jaunt in Dublin it was quite alright!

Yelp
Just in from Scotland, prebooked this fairly new Ireland hotel celebrating it's '1 year' this week... Lovely professional staff, with an eatery attached that is comfortable with surprisingly omg excellent foods. Hotel restroom is simply one floor down (common here). Several of these new hip hotels I have stayed in while touring the UK do not have any phones in the rooms considering we all have them, no refrigerator or microwave considering short stays, I don't mind. But, they have phones here! ha Although, I do miss the wash cloths. You can hear a little city racket here & there naturally. The room interior is of course super brand new... this hotel has a great location and nice views from the rooms. Grabbing an UBER black from the airport was easy to this part of town. I can almost TOUCH the amazing Gothic architecture of St. Patrick's Cathedral next door and I hear the Guinness Brewery experience is close, (telling the tale of Ireland's famous beer, with tastings and a rooftop bar! Woot) I would stay here again when I return next year. ;)

Yelp
Based on all of the great reviews, we were excited to stay here! We arrived from a red eye from d.c. around 6am, keen to drop our bags off and gather our bearings given it was our first time to Ireland. We certainly did not expect to get a room that early in the morning. However, we got to the hotel doors to find a sign that indicated they were closed until 9am. We had ZERO prior notice that the hotel would be closed (an email or something would have been great) so that we could have made prior arrangements. We waited around for a bit until we flagged down the night manager who, though very nice, said the hotel would actually be closed until noon and that he wasn't allowed to let us in, per the hotel manager's instructions. He went back a few times to speak with the manager to see if they could do anything, but the manager insisted that their check in time was not until 2pm. Again, we were not trying to check in that early, just looking to sit in the lobby for a bit. Eventually, the night manager agreed to hold our bags and let us use the restroom before we headed off for some site seeing. We did not get a warm welcome at all, and were super disappointed that this was our first experience in Dublin. Very very disappointing, given all of the nice hotels in the area. Rooms were clean clean functional, but would stay elsewhere next time.

Yelp
Very clean, upgraded amenities, friendly staff, great location, amazing breakfast, and comfortable rooms. We loved staying here and the location was great- walking distance to St Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin castle, Teeling Whiskey, and about 15 min walk from Grafton street. Hotel bar was a bit spendy, but expected at a nicer hotel as such.
