I have stayed in a lot of maldron hotels in the last few years but this one impressed me so much. It was in a great Location, lovely staff, parking on site although quite expensive. The breakfast was probably the best I have had in any hotel and I recently went to a five star resort with all inclusive dining. Lovely fresh croissants and fresh fruit, nice fry up. I managed to somehow forget my toothbrush and I chanced ringing down and they actually had a disposable one! It’s all these little things that made it one of the few hotels worth taking the time to review. I loved the bathroom so much I took a video to try and get my own to look as nice as I’m currently looking at renovating. Also I got a great price as it was midweek, I would 100% stay here again next time I visit Dublin. Highly recommend it.

I arrived after midnight, but the welcome was as fresh as daisies. Direct and easy check in, with Luigi turning my whole day around. He was cheerful, helpful and poured a great pint. This was reflected in all the staff throughout my short stay. Great work to them all and the team. As an aside, breakfast is a proper banger. Great place and looking forward to my next stay.

After staying in the Maldron in Brighton, and having a great stay I thought I'd do the same in Dublin. Brighton has the edge though, attention to detail in Dublin was not the same. The receptionist was almost mute with not much personality at all, wake up guy it's hospitality you work in clues in the name. Staff at the bar were lovely, Jamie made a real effort to engage with us. Breakfast was great 👍 having a room right near a busy road wasn't the best but it was only a short stay.

My family and I enjoyed a 4-night stay at the hotel during Christmas and New Year. The hotel was well-positioned for exploring Dublin and the rooms were very comfortable. Unfortunately, we experienced a significant issue on our first night (not the hotel's fault), which resulted in a complaint to the night staff. The hotel manager Fiona, was on-hand first thing the following morning and dealt with the matter perfectly. Her approach was proof that if a business or company handles an issue well, it strengthens the relationship with the customer and encourages loyalty. From this exchange alone, I will definitely book with the hotel again and would like to thank Fiona for making our stay such a positive one. I'd also like to mention restaurant staff Mia, who imparted lots of useful knowledge of the local area and gave us some tips and ideas! A good hotel made great because of its staff and the person at the top. Highly recommend.

Fabulous hotel. Rooms very spacious, clean and have all amenities you would expect from 4 star hotel. Staff were brilliant. Shout out to Luigi and Mia. Both full of useful information. Breakfast was great. Would recommend porridge. Would definitely stay again

One of the most comfortable hotel stays, I've ever been in. The rooms are very well kept and quiet, and also decent size. The amenities are great, and the breakfast every morning is outstanding. It is also century located just south of the river, so lots of places within walking distance. I will 100% stay here again the next time I'm in Dublin. And a huge shout out to Mia in the restaurant who could not have treated my girlfriend and I better. And also Eva who did such a spectacular job of cleaning our room. Thank you to you all in Operations at Maldron hotel!

The hotel room was clean and the location is perfect. This is likely the only hotel that offered family room for 4 people. We especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet with pancakes tailored made for the kids. The staff is very responsive to our request and friendly. Overall, we like our stay here and likely come back in the future.

Google
the rooms were spotless, check in was extremely easy no hassle, always greeted by the lovely staff upon entrance. Our room was perfect in all matters, spacious no noise from other guests or the outside . there was an option to pay for the upgrade on leaving. Everything was perfect. Will definitely come again. We were also lucky enough to have a gorgeous view of the city of dublin

Yelp
Hotel rooms are clean but do not buy the breakfast. It's a buffet that isn't well managed. The eggs were watery and cold, toast and potatoes were stale, the smoothie was uneatable, and the fruit was dry. The manager was snarky when we asked for a refund saying the food was hot and that I just need to wait for a fresh batch to come out. There goes €32 down the drain. Won't ever stay here again.

Yelp
Our one night stay at the Maldron Hotel Kevin Street was brief, but pleasant. (+) Friendly service at the front desk. Upon our early arrival, we were immediately checked into our room. No questions asked. This was awesome and greatly appreciated! Our wake up calls and arrangements for transportation back to the airport were all handled well with no hiccups. Outstanding! Likewise at checkout, the gentleman working the desk was friendly and accommodating! (+) Room was spacious (at least compared to London! lol).Plenty of room for the 2 of us to move around comfortably. (+) GREAT location! St Patrick's Cathedral is literally right next door. Church of Christ is about a 5-10 minute walk down the street and the Guinness Storehouse I'd say about 15-20 minutes walk away. (+) You can tell this is a newer property as it is very clean and looks more modern than other properties in the area. (+) great shower and water pressure (-) no fridge in the room. This would have been nice to have. (n/a) never had a chance to enjoy the bar or breakfast since our stay was so short. I will definitely return to Maldron Hotel Kevin Street upon my return to Dublin one day! 4 stars. Yay! I'm a fan.

Yelp
Avoid this hotel at all costs!! My family received terrible and inhumane customer services from this hotel. After trying to cancel a reservation, staff told us they would try their best to assist us with a free and easy cancelation, but just a few minutes later another worker informs us we will be charged the full amount and there is nothing we can do about it. Do not book at this hotel if you think you may want to cancel because they will not care in helping or assisting good people. Will remember this next time we stop in Ireland for a family trip.

Yelp
Clean, comfortable, reasonably priced and ideally located between the city centre and our student son's flat. Close to everything! Front desk staff was kind and always ready to help. The breakfast buffet was ample and had more than enough to satisfy all in our party, including our vegan son. We would gladly return.

Yelp
This the first hotel we've used in 25 years that -doesn't have wash cloths -doesn't have a refrigerator -doesn't have a microwave -doesn't have a bathroom in the lobby -doesn't have a way to get into the hotel late at night -doesn't have complimentary lotion -doesn't have an ice bucket in the room -doesn't have a pen and pad of paper We really needed all of the things above at some point during the week. Needless to say, we're unimpressed with this new hotel. However, they do seem to be the only hotel we can find in Europe where breakfast is free. And the location is good too

Yelp
Very convenient location, clean, modern with great comforts very different from other Maldron hotels I've stayed in before. Small lobby, a restaurant with many tables and very, very good security. You need a room key just to access the door where the vending machines and elevators are located. Then, you need to swipe your key in the elevator in order to get to another floor. Good selection of breakfast foods. The rooms are comfortable, clean and not cramped. They have shampoo, body gel, soap, hair dryer, large towels, a safe and a unique and wonderful shower that made it difficult to actually get out of the shower, because it felt so good. No tub. Just like the other hotels I stayed in across the country, no face clothes. Extra pillows in the closet. You need to insert your room key in the slot when you enter in order to activate the electricity. This is a great way for hotels to save electricity. You take your key with you and everything shuts down. The windows do not open and the temperature control did not appear to cool the room off as I hoped, but I found all hotels with or without AC complicated. It's rare to need AC in Ireland so I was thankful they had something that made a difference with changing the air. They also have a USB port and ample electrical outlets. Free WIFI throughout the hotel and rooms.

Yelp
This hotel is more than adequate for a few day stay but I don't think I'd want to stay much longer. Much like everything else in Europe, the room is small! Between two beds crammed in there and a few suitcases you can guarantee a stubbed toe daily. We arrived hours before check in and I assume the staff was sick of looking at us on the lobby so they got us a room much before check in time. Greatly appreciated! The breakfast is really good. I'm not sure if it's included with the stay since we were on a tour and everything was prepaid, but it was more than adequate. They had a good bit of healthy selections too. There were a few annoyances that were listed in other reviews. Not having a bathroom on the ground floor was seriously annoying. The washcloth thing was annoying too but I've never seen washcloths in European hotels anywhere. Toiletries left much to be desired too. But for a quick jaunt in Dublin it was quite alright!

Yelp
Just in from Scotland, prebooked this fairly new Ireland hotel celebrating it's '1 year' this week... Lovely professional staff, with an eatery attached that is comfortable with surprisingly omg excellent foods. Hotel restroom is simply one floor down (common here). Several of these new hip hotels I have stayed in while touring the UK do not have any phones in the rooms considering we all have them, no refrigerator or microwave considering short stays, I don't mind. But, they have phones here! ha Although, I do miss the wash cloths. You can hear a little city racket here & there naturally. The room interior is of course super brand new... this hotel has a great location and nice views from the rooms. Grabbing an UBER black from the airport was easy to this part of town. I can almost TOUCH the amazing Gothic architecture of St. Patrick's Cathedral next door and I hear the Guinness Brewery experience is close, (telling the tale of Ireland's famous beer, with tastings and a rooftop bar! Woot) I would stay here again when I return next year. ;)

Yelp
Based on all of the great reviews, we were excited to stay here! We arrived from a red eye from d.c. around 6am, keen to drop our bags off and gather our bearings given it was our first time to Ireland. We certainly did not expect to get a room that early in the morning. However, we got to the hotel doors to find a sign that indicated they were closed until 9am. We had ZERO prior notice that the hotel would be closed (an email or something would have been great) so that we could have made prior arrangements. We waited around for a bit until we flagged down the night manager who, though very nice, said the hotel would actually be closed until noon and that he wasn't allowed to let us in, per the hotel manager's instructions. He went back a few times to speak with the manager to see if they could do anything, but the manager insisted that their check in time was not until 2pm. Again, we were not trying to check in that early, just looking to sit in the lobby for a bit. Eventually, the night manager agreed to hold our bags and let us use the restroom before we headed off for some site seeing. We did not get a warm welcome at all, and were super disappointed that this was our first experience in Dublin. Very very disappointing, given all of the nice hotels in the area. Rooms were clean clean functional, but would stay elsewhere next time.

Yelp
Very clean, upgraded amenities, friendly staff, great location, amazing breakfast, and comfortable rooms. We loved staying here and the location was great- walking distance to St Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin castle, Teeling Whiskey, and about 15 min walk from Grafton street. Hotel bar was a bit spendy, but expected at a nicer hotel as such.
