Maleny Tropical Retreat

What an amazing place. The views are spectacular. We had a lovely room with kitchenette and dining both inside and outdoors. There was an outdoor spa area privacy screen if we wanted. A truly peaceful and relaxing place to stay. Highly recommended and communication from the owners was amazing. Rang to advise when the room was ready and was given access straight away. Continental breakfast was a delight and I will definitely be returning soon.

2nd time my wife and I have stayed at the tropical retreat but this time with another couple. We had a very rainy weekend but so worth it for the scenery and relaxation. Ken has this place set up perfectly for you to turn up only needing a few sets of clothes for your stay. Can't wait to go back and listen to the Eastern whip birds too.|Thanks Ken.

Where do I begin? Tropical Maleny Retreat was an amazing little getaway! The genuine service and great atmosphere made for a truly relaxing experience. The host, Ken, was such a lovely and down-to-earth person, going out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed. It’s not about fancy luxury here, but rather the warm, caring touch that makes you feel right at home. Ken’s hospitality was heartfelt and genuine, adding a personal touch to the entire stay. We’ll definitely be back! Thank you for a memorable experience! And the little welcome touches - even though we booked last minute he still managed a little honeymoon welcome. Reviews are everything and we’re so glad we decided to stay here.

We had a lovely experience staying in our cabin. Ken and staff have done a wonderful job running and maintaining this place. This place has a beautiful story behind it. Nothing was a problem and we received the best service. Highly recommend this place.

My husband and I stayed in the yellow Seminyak villa for our mini-moon. It was beautiful even though the weather was rainy and thunder storming it made it an even better vibe for us. The views is beautiful, the sounds of nature were blissful and the service was amazing. We loved our breakfast too! We had the package that included a massage and dinner at the bar and grill and it was perfect, the courtesy bus picked us up from our villa!! We loved reading the history behind the retreat which made it even more special for us. Thank you for sharing this beautiful place with the community. Love the Shottons🥰

I enjoyed staying there last year, and wanted to spend a night this year, unfortunately my money isn't good enough for that any longer, as a minimum of two night's stay is required. I live relatively local and will now give my support to one of the many other fine locations in the area that are less greedy. I could be wrong, but it doesn't make sense to drive customers away. Also, see if you can get that for a publicised $182 a night.

Ken and his team were very welcoming and helpful. The Lovina cabin was beautifully done and the views devine, the smell of the trees and fauna were intoxicating and our whole stay was peaceful and very relaxing. Will definitely be going back again and again!!!
