Stayed in an ocean-facing executive suite; the location, room and view were excellent. Overall, the stay was good, and I didn't face any issues except for low water pressure in the bathroom. The hotel could be better maintained, and the service could be improved.

Very bad stay experience at Malibest Hotel. I stayed here for 3 days and faced multiple issues. On the first day itself, the AC was not working. Hot water was available only once; afterward, there was no hot water. I chose this hotel based on Goibibo recommendations, but it turned out to be a big disappointment. The staff behavior was very poor and unhelpful. They did not provide extra drinking water—only two half-liter bottles were given. Per day, just two tea sachets were provided, which is very basic and inadequate. Breakfast was not good, and there were no Indian food options available. On top of this, we had to pay an extra 100 MYR as a caution deposit, which was not clearly informed in advance. Overall, nothing felt new or well-maintained in this hotel. I do not recommend Malibest Hotel. Please prefer any other hotel for a better stay experience.

Hi all!! Malibest is startegic location to the beach,swimming pool and walking distance to zone tax free. Also along the road is walking distance to buy food convenient store,mart,7 eleven. And souvenir shop!! Old property yet still relevant!! 1st of all kudos to chefs and kitchen crew! All Breakfast is delicious. Love it! Few thing to imporve :- Your room service is near to the beach and swimming pool. Supposedly every room provide Towel Rack or Towel Hanger. It easy to dry swimming suits,wet towel and so on. Towel hang in bathroom not enough. Only that i would like to highlight because staying for 3days 2 night,difficult for me handling 5pax with lots of wet towel,and wet swimming suits. Over all crew was friendly and negotiated.

I got a Room in the Old Building, the one above the main Reception. Room wise, it was decent, housekeeping was also good. Breakfast was also good, although not many vegetarian options, but still good enough. The Main issue was, they closed there Swimming pool without any prior notice on either there website or any other way for Mantainence just 1 day before my Checkin date, and it remained closed for the 4 days I stayed there, so couldn't enjoy it, I was looking forward to it. Other than that, they do have parking space, but it's very minimal, hardly 8-10 Cars, if full, they ask you to park on the road in front of the resort itself. I got this for a good price, the View was incredible, beach was beautiful in front of the resort.

The hotel facilities and location were acceptable; however, the service experience was disappointing. Some staff members lacked basic manners and professionalism when dealing with guests. Simple courtesies such as polite communication, attentiveness and respectful tone were missing. I strongly suggest that management invest in proper customer service training and educate staff on hospitality etiquette as this greatly affects the overall guest experience.

Malibest Resort is a good place to stay, especially if you’re looking for a beachside experience. The rooms are spacious, and I opted for a Deluxe Room with a beach view, which was worth it. The staff are kind, attentive, and genuinely try to accommodate requests as much as possible. Breakfast is decent—while it could offer a few more options, it’s still satisfactory overall. The location is another plus, as the resort is conveniently close to Pantai Cenang Beach, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. I’m deducting one star for the strict check-in policy. Check-in is fixed at 3 PM, and it would have been appreciated if some flexibility was offered if rooms are ready beforehand. Overall, a pleasant stay with great location and friendly service.

The hotel staff are friendly and cooperative within the limits of the available resources. The hotel owner should invest in improving the overall condition of the rooms. The room flooring needs attention, the bathroom requires renovation, and the walls would benefit from a fresh coat of paint. The carpets should be removed or replaced, as they feel outdated. It would also be helpful to have a luggage weighing scale available at the reception for guests’ convenience. For guest safety, hotel staff should be informed and able to warn guests about the presence of jellyfish in the sea when conditions require it.

Room price was worth it. The environment was clean. Most of the rooms comes with an excellent beach view. The breakfast buffet choices was very limited. But it taste good. Finding a parking spot is a competitive sport here, but whatever you do, don't park under the tree.You will regret it by sunrise.
