The hotel was located right next to the beach. Very easy access to beach activities like Jet Ski and Para Sailing. While playing, we lost our room key and had to forfeit RM50 from the security deposit of RM100. The room was decent size. The aircon was working well, water pressure was good. Their duvets were good as it was thick and warm. The only thing was we couldn't wash up after playing at the beach before getting back to the hotel, so it's very sabdy and wet at the hotel lobby and lift. Parking is limited at the hotel itself, and there are some other car park lots opposite the hotel. You just need to inform the staff and they will help you to open up the other lots. Breakfast was not bad, decent spread.

Location is very good, just a few steps away from the beach - the best thing about this resort. Room is nice, with balcony that overlooks the beach. However, the bathroom items provided were only tiny bottles of body wash and shampoo, no soap for washing hands. After 2 days, we had to get our own handwash. Funnily enough, after we bought it, they provided the small round soap. Shower head was a bit faulty. Towels were not changed everyday unless they were left crumpled on the rack. Room cleanliness not too bad, though. Breakfast normal. I would recommend this resort because of its close proximity to the beach.

The location of this hotel is excellent and the room was very good. We took premier ocean view room which was a great choice. You can see the ocean and hear the roar right from your bed. Ac was working properly and the bathroom was clean. Happy to stay at Malibest. Try to get the room 3020 or 3021 for royal feel.

Two Different Experiences in One Resort – Honest Review We stayed at Malibest Resort and had two very different experiences depending on the section of the resort. When we first booked, we couldn’t find availability in the Premier/Beachfront section (which is known to be much better), so we had no choice but to book in the older/back section. Unfortunately, that part of the resort did not meet our expectations at all — the room condition, location, and overall experience were below average. I would personally give that section only 2 stars. We explained the situation to the reception and requested to move to the better section. They asked us to come back the next day. At that point, I told them we were thinking of moving to another hotel altogether, since we weren’t able to use or enjoy the first room at all. Thankfully, the staff were kind and did their best to help us. They managed to find us a room with a king bed in the Premier section (although it was not sea view), and while it wasn’t a family room, we managed — my son slept on the sofa. The room was much better overall — clean, well-located, and more comfortable — and I would rate this section 4 stars. However, there was miscommunication about breakfast. When we moved to the new room and paid the difference, I asked if breakfast was included, and I was told yes. But the next morning, we were surprised to hear that breakfast was not included, which was disappointing and confusing. To be fair, it's not the resort's fault that we arrived late or booked the lower section — and we appreciate the staff’s effort to improve our stay. Overall Summary: Older/back section: 2★ (Not recommended) Premier section (not sea view): 4★ (Recommended) Advice: If you plan to stay here, try to book early and directly in the beachfront or premier rooms, and be sure to confirm clearly what’s included, especially breakfast. It makes a big difference.

The location is great. It's smack dab in the middle of tourist spot at Pantai Cenang. Convenient stores, duty-free shops, restaurants, money changers, self-service laundry and even the beach are all within walking distance. The room is spacious and clean. The room service can be improved. The cleaning is not thorough (some corners of the room are left out during cleaning and the entryway was still a little bit sandy upon arrival and even after room service). The service is decent. Had to request for extra towel (they only gave one for a twin beds room) and complained (twice!) about the clogged bathroom. However, the staffs are all very polite. The resort also provided smart TV (Android TV), refrigerator and guest parking which are all bonus. For the price we pay, it's a good bargain.

Near to cenang beach & easy to access to convenience store / spa / restaurant & other shop as well. The room was super comfortable. However, if u stay in the new building (not chalet), they provide ironing area at outside the room & need to share with others & cannot request for the iron at the receptionist🫤 Other than that, I enjoyed to stay in this hotel.

A lovely beach resort that I was happy to return to for the second time! The rooms are clean, and the bathrooms are well-maintained. The beach is absolutely beautiful, with plenty of fun sports activities to enjoy. There’s also a nice outdoor swimming pool, perfect for relaxing. Just outside the hotel, there’s a street with great shops and restaurants, and two nearby supermarkets are open 24 hours, which is super convenient. The check-in and check-out process was smooth, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. One useful tip: if you're heading to the airport and need to leave before 7am make sure to arrange a taxi the day before, as ride-hailing apps don’t work for early bookings before that time. I love this hotel and will definitely stay here again!
