Malibest Resort

We stayed here intending to chill out for a few days. After reading previous reviews my expectations were low. However, I was very pleasantly surprised. The room we had was massive, and had a balcony overlooking the ocean beachside. We did upgrade and had a premiere executive room, but at £60 per night, this was value for money. The bed was very comfortable, bottled water was supplied daily, along with coffee and tea sachets. ||The hotel is a 2 star hotel, so amenities are lacking. Eg. No sunbeds only chairs by the pool, sunbeds are chargeable on the beach but at 20rm per day, it’s not too bad. And worth it. The Oceanside cafe only opens at 1pm. But there are plenty of places to eat and drink locally. ||All in all I would recommend this hotel, if the amenities were better, it could easily be a 4 star hotel .

Very nice hotel if you're on a budget. The location is perfect. On the beach and close to convenient stores, restaurants and shops. It's best to take your own bath towel, as the ones they provide aren't the best quality. The breakfast is standard. Not a lot of variety, but good. The swimming pool is great for kids with the slide, adults better to swim in the sea.

Hi i have we checked in this resort few times. But this round I'm very upset with frontdesk Yes I understand check in 3pm..then just be firm 3pm no need say can come and check again at 2pm or 2.30pm Being rude there is no solution.just be firm cannot means cannot. On top of at least provide necessity items like hairdryer and iron if possible The view I have no complain .

It's a really nice place to stay. The rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was good. The location was amazing. We had breakfast every morning with a view of the beach, no windows, just beautiful morning sea breezes. The location was excellent with everything at your doorstep. If I stay there again, I will be sure to request a room with a balcony that looks over the ocean.

Location wise is good, you can have easy access to beach, local stalls/restaurant. Booked two rooms for 3d2n. 1 is the premier queen room which is good. Another 1 is the family room which is totally not recommended. the toilet smells bad eventhough we have the exhaust fan turn on most of the time. the water is not clean too. it just taste and smell weird. The receptionist staffssss were very unfriendly 👎but met a housekeeping guy who is very helpful. 👍 Hopefully you will improve your service in the future.

Good location, right on beach. 7-11 just across the road. We booked the premier room which was newly renovated with partial seaview. Bed is very comfy too. Downside is the bathroom was not sealed and no door so each time you take shower the whole bathroom floor is wet. Drain wasn’t capturing the water as well. If you need to use hairdryer, you will have to go to reception to ask for it and it will only let you use for 2 hours - which is unheard of. I find it ridiculous.Pool filled with kids, so if you want some quiet time, then don’t use the pool.Reception isn’t very friendly. All in all, for the price we paid I think it’s valuable for just the room and comfy bed.

Located on Pantai Cenang beach, the seaside cottages are a great place to spend the evening enjoying the sea view. However, the internet service is very poor, as their WiFi is barely functional. It doesn’t work at all when you’re in your room; it only works in the hotel lobby. The swimming pool is primarily for kids, and if you see photos of it and feel attracted, please keep in mind that the water is not clean, and anyone who uses it may experience skin problems. The staff at reception can be quite rude; they don’t seem to care about the guests waiting to check in or check out. We had to wait over an hour for check-in. Their check-in time is at 3 pm local time, and we arrived at the hotel for check-in at 3:15 pm, yet we had to wait nearly an hour. They mentioned that the rooms were not ready and finally provided us with sea-view cottages, even though we had booked hotel rooms, not cottages. Staying in the cottages can sometimes be hectic due to the late-night music from around the beach. Overall, it was somewhat of a good stay.

I had a terrible experience at your hotel. There was no parking available, the place was dirty, and the staff was unfriendly. The hotel is outdated and in desperate need of renovation. I expected much better for the price.
