Malibu Sandals

I’ve been rocking Malibu Sandals for nearly a decade now, and I can’t recommend them enough. Not only are they the most comfortable shoes I own, they’re also the most original — a perfect blend of craft, culture, and California soul. My two-tone Thunderbird clogs turn heads every time I wear them out — they’re the kind of footwear that sparks conversations and envy in equal measure. At this point, I own nine pairs of Malibus — one for every season, mood, and occasion. If you ever find yourself cruising down the coast, make the pilgrimage to their rustic outlet store in Malibu. Say hello to Kevin and his lovely family, who bring warmth and authenticity to every pair they make. It’s more than just a shop — it’s a reminder that comfort, craftsmanship, and character never go out of style.

Your new favorite sandals are hidden in this adorable shop just north of the Malibu Country Mart, on Cross Creek Rd (past civic center way if coming from pch, east of the whole foods). You will think to yourself, “well, the shop must not be here anymore” (because it doesn’t have an elaborate store front and you have to walk through a parking lot of some sort) but this feeling means you’re almost there! Keep going. The owners (and shoe craftsman who is one of these owners) will likely be on site. I could detail why you’d want to shop here simply because the owners are so awesome, helpful and welcoming but I will fast forward to the sandal part… Comfort-wise they are supportive enough to wear all day like a hiking sandal but less ‘athleisure-like’ in appearance than your Keen or comparable sandal. I haven’t found a more comfortable or supportive sandal that doesn’t resemble an athletic sneaker: best in class for sure.
