The university night market opposite Chiang Mai University is actually a gathering place for middle school and university students after school. The quality of the clothes and food there is really quite cheap. The clothes and shoes, in particular, are very suitable for students' styles, but the material quality is not very good. The whole night market is quite large. As a tourist, I think it's okay to visit if you have time, but don't expect to find good quality clothes. If you're short on time, there's no need to make a special trip to visit.

Such a great night market, and pretty unknown to foreigners. Most of the people visiting are Thai teenagers as it is located nearby a university. Food is cheap and great! And plenty of clothing shops here at reasonable prices. Cool stuff!

So this is a iconic market for campus students. There is bunch of food store and miscellaneous. All of them is students price. This place is suit for people who need variety of food. And enjoy shopping some gift shop. (There so many store. Maybe around 50-80 store.) If you come around August to May. It will be really crowded. Cause if student. But other month is just lower around 20%-30%. In prime time, you will hard to find parking for a car. I recommend that you can park in campus and just walking cross a street. But if you grab some motorbike. There will be always have a seat for you.

Very busy student filled food market. Selection of options was ok but nothing stand out. Better food markets elsewhere. None of the sit down options drew me in. Had various skewers, pork neck & mango sticky rice.

Typical night market. Demographic skews younger because schools are nearby. Lots of food options at decent deals and prices. But the shopping is just tourists traps

There are a lot of delicious food with very reasonable prices here. The place is mostly for local students here rather than tourists. But compared to a tourist night markets, I prefer to go to this plaza since the awful food with expensive prices will almost impossibly happen here.

Very good selection of food from a whole host of different stalls. Incredibly cheap and fast service from friendly workers. Some eye raising options if you're brave enough! (See pic).
