There's not much going on there, to be honest. Great views for sure. And we walked from the marine park to Vasco da gama pillar, so a good experience generally. You will be required to pay for some things there though, that's if you want, for example the excursions. But the entrance is free for the beach. Don't carry plastics, though. That's prohibited

The Marine park is worthy of a trial. The boat 🚢⛵ rides are amazing,, the visit to the magic island 🏝️🏖️ is amazing with a view of crabs, shells and white clean sandy ⛱️🏖️ beach to relax and sand bath. The boat ride is accompanied by a clear view of various fish 🐠🐟 specimen collection. The swimming and diving 🤿 in the ocean is awesome. The boat guides are very helpful and polite offering floaters 🛟 and advise to details. The payment via E-citizen with Kenya Wildlife Service is easy. The staff are welcoming, polite and professional.

The variety of exotic marine life was breathtaking. The local guides are super knowledgeable and really love the ecosystem. How to get there: Malindi Marine Park is located 25mins away from Malindi town. You can use a private taxi, a three-wheeler (Tuktuk) or a motorcycle. The boats all have lifesaver jackets and the guides are well trained. What to carry: Swims suits and loooots of sunscreen😄. The expert guides will provide you with snorkeling equipment within the package. Payment: You will need to pay the Kenya Wildlife Society (KWS) Park Entry fees at the gate, either via Mpesa, or Card. No cash payment is accepted for the entry. The boat excursion will range between $45 - $65 depending on whether you're on a private excursion and you have the whole boat to yourself or whether you're sharing with other guests. Time: There's two type of experiences while at Malindi Marine Park. You can decide to do the full day excursion which sets from 9am, and sails to the Marine Park, and further to the Magic Island, and finally to a private island deep in the water. Here, you'll get a chance to eat freshly grilled seafood. Boats return by 3pm. The other shorter and more popular experience is the Marine Park and Magic Island excursion which takes roughly 1.5 - 3hrs depending on the time you visit.

We called the number stated here and were connected to a guy, who came to our hotel to explain about the different options or boat trips. We got a very decent price for snorkeling and bbq on the island. We booked a private tour. All was very well organized, very polite captains and delicious food!

No worth to go in for snorkeling. The entrance fee for park makes 18 US dollars/ pers., then you will be offered a boat for 7.000 KES, which we reduced by negotiation to 3.500 KES. They promised us snorkeling on the reef, but then they went to another two places without corals, only fish.

Very little snorkeling, no island, but still a nice boat ride. Very beautiful. The food was excellent. Beware coffee hawker at the end... was difficult to get my change back and many people didn't realize coffee wasn't included.
