Malis (Norodom Boulevard)

Local Cambodian flavors some spicy, some not so but nonetheless unique to this country. My favorites were the warm scallop with green peppercorn and organic roasted chicken which was full of flavor and aromatic. The mango chicken salad was also nice but I would skip that vegetable curry (a bit on the bland side). Would I come back here again? Definitely.

This is my second time visiting this restaurant, and it’s become a MUST each time we come to Phnom Penh! The service was excellent, just like before. We absolutely love their homemade sauce, and they even offered it to us for free—seriously, they should sell it! The food is consistently great, and this time we had the pleasure of trying their crème brûlée. It was exceptional! The pinch of local spice they added made it truly unique and delicious. Definitely going to come back again!

Went here for a birthday celebration and was truly impressed. The staff were incredibly friendly and responsive, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. Every dish we ordered was spot on, and I especially loved their longan-flavored ice cream—so unique and refreshing! They even surprised us with a complimentary dessert set, which was a lovely touch. The prices are well justified by the quality of both the food and service. Overall, it was a wonderful fine dining experience with a special Khmer flair.

One of the best restaurants I’ve tried in Cambodia! It serves authentic Khmer food with unforgettable flavors. Every dish was perfectly made, rich in taste, and full of traditional vibes. The service was excellent, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The place itself was clean, well-designed, and truly reflected Cambodian culture. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Cambodia and looking for a real local food experience!

Rating based on food. Service and place were superb though. Celebrated my birthday here ordered food shown in the pics below but it was so disappointing. Waited almost 40 mins for the fish. All the food got great presentation BUT the taste were underwhelming and didnt meet expectations. Will I recommend this if you want to chill and enjoy the place? Sure. But for food trip, lunch and dinner? Definitely NOT.

The restaurant boasts a beautiful, chill, and cozy ambiance. The Khmer cuisine here is creative and well-executed, though it leans towards rich and robust flavors. The staff are exceptionally nice and attentive.

We tried this place this March Great place to get a base taste of what Cambodian cuisine like, my family liked the food a lots and we ordered 10 plates and finished all plus countless rice .

A very satisfying dining experience here ! Didn’t know that Malis is so popular until we saw so many high profile people picture on the wall~ Every dish has its own unique taste especially the dessert! Kampot pepper crème brûlée is so so delicious and classy ! Dessert that not really sweet but the slight sweetness brings out the best flavor of the dessert, this is another level ~ Amok fish also a must try! We love the seafood soup so much~ last but not least, the pork sausage is so flavorful, most importantly that it doesn’t taste like other common sausage which is always salty one, this one really impressive, not salty but flavorful !! Highly recommended!
