Mall of Berlin

Had a great time visiting Mall of Berlin. The mall is modern, spacious, and very well designed, making shopping here comfortable and enjoyable. There’s an excellent mix of stores — from international brands to popular local shops — so you can easily find everything in one place. The layout is easy to navigate, and the atmosphere feels lively but not overcrowded. The food options are also a big plus, with plenty of choices for a quick snack or a proper meal after shopping. Everything is clean, organized, and well maintained. Its central location makes it super convenient to visit while exploring Berlin. Definitely a great spot for shopping, dining, and just spending a relaxed few hours indoors.

Berlin Mall is a beautiful, modern shopping destination right in the heart of the city. The mall is spacious, clean, and well-designed, making it very enjoyable to walk around without feeling crowded. The architecture alone is impressive, with lots of natural light and a very polished, upscale feel. There’s a great mix of shops—from fashion and lifestyle stores to food spots—so it’s easy to spend a few relaxed hours here. We really enjoyed just strolling, window-shopping, and taking in the vibrant atmosphere after walking past the nearby historical sites. Its location is perfect, especially if you’re exploring Potsdamer Platz and the Berlin Wall area. A great place to warm up, unwind, shop, or grab a bite while sightseeing in Berlin. Definitely worth a stop!

Place is beautiful, and has a calming feel. Its a mall but feels like walking in a larger version of a restaurant with pretty good interior design and not so shiny everywhere with lights and chandeliers. It has alot of lighting for sure but the way the whole thing is done inside is really amazing. I liked it so much as you can tell, it was my highlight😄 You pay 1 euro for washroom, which is redeemable I think on food stores around only. The washrooms are very tidy btw. Perhaps the tidiest I have seen for any mall. Its quite spacious as well and many stores I took only 1 photo of the ceiling which is doing it a deservice but will put it anyway.

Large, modern shopping mall right in the city center with a wide mix of international brands, food options, and services. Easy to navigate despite the size, and well connected by public transport. Good place to shop, eat, or take a break while exploring Berlin. Practical and convenient rather than flashy. Closed on Sunday

A nice shopping mall with different options to buy. There is a DM, Zara home, Zara, a hair salon, Aldi, ice cream, jewelry, clothes, books, watches, perfumes, repairs, and much more. The food court has a lot of options and it is located in the third floor. There is a direct access from The stairs in the south entrance. It has small halls but it gives the feeling of an elegant and traditional shopping mall of the west. It has many different entrances, stairs and elevators.

It breaks my heart. This mall is slowly evaporating tenants even as it remains beautiful, clean, and heated or cooled according to season. What stores exist are lovely, well-stocked, and nice. The vibe is ghostly, though, like a transit hall for people wanting to cut the corners on a walk-through of the area. Add to that all the smokers of cigarettes and cigars and you get to walk through their clouds as you move from the east section to the west section, and argh. Have to go home, shower and wash my clothes when I get home. Otherwise, yup. You can buy a coat, get a handbag or some lingerie here. Maybe visit H&M for seasonal decor or cheap earrings, kids clothes or socks. I hope they figure out how to bring more life to it, and not just with the Christmas market exuberance.

If you need/ want something.... it's here. I loved that between the 2 giant malls was a little merry go round and market booths. Mulled wine while the kids play. Lol. Great shopping

It's a nice and quite large shopping mall. The inside was clean and tidy. The restrooms here were paid, which I think is ridiculous. There was also a music event outside.

A comfortable and quiet place to go shopping for the holidays. You will find about everything in this mall. Prices are reasonable and varies based on brands. I also liked the fact that it was not overwhelming with tourist and tons of shoppers. Customer service is reasonable and no pushy salespeople on the floor. Vibe in this mall I would say is pleasant and mellow. Unfortunately we did not see any spots to eat but that was ok because there are plenty of restaurants in the neighborhood.

Centrally located and close to several things in Berlin. Quality shops, some moderately priced and others a little more expensive.

The Mall of Berlin is obviously amazing with beautiful architecture, a million stores, and huge food court. The highlight you need to know about is the giant spiral slide that takes you from the third to first floor in seconds! This brings you this quick story that only few people will read in this small corner of the internet. I was exploring this mall with my family. I spotted identical twins--2 old ladies, obviously German with blond hair and blue eyes. The cool part was they were both wearing the exact same things (jeans, white shoes, yellow rain jackets, white purses). They walked the same and their voices sounded the same. This was on the third floor where the slide entrance is. I see them both go down the slide, utilizing it not really for fun, but just a way to get down to the first floor quickly. Seeing these old twins, basically the same people, enjoying this slide as their normal means to getting around the mall, was interesting to me. By the way, use of the slide is free! You're supposed to remove your shoes before riding down, but no one does.

This is a HUGE mall. The reason for my rating is primarily lack of restrooms. There are more elevators in this mall than bathrooms! The signs are confusing as well. It took us 30 minutes to find a bathroom. It costs 50 Cents to use the bathroom. There is a large food court and a lot of high end stores. We enjoyed walking around the mall and went into a lot of the shops. The mall has a lot of seating available. There is a large slide that kids can have fun on.

went in to shop and use the restroom. it took me 30 minutes to find a restroom becuase the only signs pointing to a restroom were pointing to one that was closed for renovations. the other restroom had no signs pointing it it, and i had to ask multiple people to find it. when i got there, not only did i have to pay and the machines were very broken, but the restroom was filthy. there was dirty water covering the floor, and the rooms were out of toilet paper, except for toilet paper rools that had gotten wet laying on the dirty floor. absolutely disgusting, never coming again.

If Kadewe is like Nordstroms, then the Mall of Berlin feels a little more like your typical suburban mall in America, lots of places to shop, more moderate pricing, and a food court on top. It's A-ok.

Upon our arrival in the city, our Uber driver couldn't stop talking about the Mall of Berlin. She was practically giddy with excitement that our hotel was right around the corner, and pleaded with us to go check it out. After her ringing endorsement, the curiosity got the best of us so we went. It's just a big mall. A giant mall, in fact. With many American chain stores. Big whoop. The foodie in me did think it was worth a visit just to see the food court and its unusual assortment of local food stands. And it was fun to peruse the European fashions that weren't big name brands. There's also a great supermarket inside too, where I picked up some great German lotions and lip balms for cheap.

The Mall of Berlin is well-kept and massive. If you have some free time and want to take a break from sightseeing, this is a great place to get some shopping done. They have all the high-end shops, but also plenty of affordable options too. There's even a couple gift shops if you go to the second building. Additionally, bathrooms are available on the lower floor for a fee. It's fine though -- they're very clean. Also you (or kids) can pose with life-size lego people on the top floor. Pretty fun! Centrally located off Potsdamer Platz. Easy to find. Worth a stop.

Love how accessible this is! Parking can be a real challenge in Berlin so it was a nice 5 minute walk from my aunt's house! This is the only mall in Berlin next to a river so it's truest aesthetically pleasing and instagram worthy for sunny days. It's even nice to visit on slightly rainy days when the customer traffic is not as high. Features stores not commonly found in the USA such as discount shoe stores have been destroyed by the rise of Amazon. Huge electronic store on the first level with cheaper than usual prices for wireless headphones about a $50 decrease in comparison to paying at the Apple store. Remember to bring some change so you are able to use the restroom, which is well maintained by the bathroom attendant.

Mall of Berlin was a really neat experience, I didn't pull the trigger on anything due to not finding what I wanted but I spent a few hours hanging out here and had a good time. You also have some really cool attractions around here too which is what led me here. The Alexa Mall is much more fashion forward if that's what you're into like myself.

We stayed in Berlin a block north of this mall. I popped in just out of random curiosity. This is a massive mall. Even compared to some giants I've been to in the US I was impressed. It takes up multiple levels of a city block. The food court alone is the size of some strip malls. You have a wide selection of food choices to pick from. There are also a ton of stores ranging from high end to more affordable. It was clean, I felt safe, and it was interesting to see just how similar shopping was in Germany compared to the US. I don't understand the reviews lower than four stars. Most of them say it is a great mall, but still give it three stars. This isn't a historic attraction, it is a mall. What more do you animals want?

This is a big mall in central Berlin with west- and east-designated buildings. Both buildings are connected by a large atrium and walk bridge/balcony. Each building has three floors that circles so it could get daunting if looking for specific shops and also try not getting lost. You will find all types of stores from high end to gimmicky to souvenirs. The food court is its own floor, really, with only restaurants and a few shops. The restroom is at the basement and costs to use. Parking was dicey except for drop-off and pick-up, or loading spaces. Most people seemed to arrive by train.

The Mall of Berlin is a very large shopping mall in Leipziger Platz in quite a central area of the German capital, it opened in 2014 and it is quite a modern mall, it splits into two "Eastside" and "Westside" with a rather nice balcony in between the two, as I recall it is over three floors with many eateries including Subway and Pizza Hut on the third floor. The mall has 270 shops and a decent range of shops, although big brands such as Starbucks are missed out here, and instead have locations nearby. Apple also don't have a store here, as they only have one store in Berlin, which is around 15 minutes away on two metro lines The shopping mall can be quite confusing to navigate mainly down to having multiple floors and then the Eastside and Westside boundary. There seems to be a satisfactory amount of machines to get an idea of where you are going, but more maps and more of these machines and staff around the mall would, of course, be even better. There are a decent amount of big, worldwide brands here, of course some I'm familiar with in the UK such as Clarks, Hugo Boss. Deichmann, G-Star Raw and JD Sports to name a few, all of which have branches here and in the centre of my home-town of Manchester. This is a nice mall, with a really nice, modern building and the balcony is of course a highlight and the range of shops making this one of the better places in Berlin, albeit due to lack of places perhaps to grab a coffee and the layout being slightly confusing, I feel this mall warrants nothing over a three star rating.

wear amazing walking shoes!! This mall, is massive. Especially since there two different sides to this mall. The stores range from not so expensive to expensive and the food court has a wide range of different foods. You have Thai, American, German, Chinese and etc. This mall is centrally located in the middle of all main attractions of Berlin. And it is a very nice place to come and shop! What's really cool is right outside the mall, you'll find there's a little street that you'll take to get to the Museum of the Murdered Jews, however right before reaching this museum, there's a board which will tell you you're standing right where the Nazi bunker used to be! Pretty cool to stumble upon if you ask me.

So weird to find this huge mall in the middle of Berlin. Great options of international fashion designers, great food court and the only thing I was so angry was that they do not have free restrooms!!! Muy buenas opciones de locales de diseño internacionales, muy buen patio de comidas con opciones ricas, lo único que me hizo enojar muchísimo es que no tienen baños gratis!!!

Went there at the opening day. Although the weather was't really nice, it was full of people inside. I kinda amazed but the design when I first walk in. it's really modern and cool design compared with the most of the malls I have been so far in Berlin. In different area they all kinda have their own style, quite unique. For example when you are in the toy area the design around kinda colorful, when you in the clothing area it will become more elegant. it just shows how special this mall is instantly. In the same time the mall managed to keep their own style still. It's really nice. People can just come here explore the malls and admire design here, when they just taking their day slow. In the mall, it got real various shops, from H&M (really big, even have Home area) to Zara, Nike such as big names. The price is also reason, It's not really cheap, but at least not ridiculous. For shopping is quite a nice choice. you probably can spent the whole day here. I was a bit disappointed though, the Saturn (electronic shop) is quite small here. Of course it also has a floor just for food lovers. Quite international actually, the day i went I saw there offer Asian, European, American and so on different kitchens, I also saw some parts, still not open yet. I guess there will be more choices later. Imagine that, sitting on the top floor, having a coffee, and just look around, it's quite a feeling. After all, it's a really nice mall, well, i think it matches the name. Also nice location. Compare with some international big mall, I think Mall of Berlin still have some point can improve. the mall itself didn't really has any entertainment areas for people just hang around, such as cinema or Ice skating rink and so on. The mall is still new, I sure it will get more in the future.

A mall liked you'd find in most capitals in the world. Very nice. Lots of top brand name stores. Located in two buildings connected by a sky walk bridge on the second floor. I liked the atrium sitting area where you can watch the clouds floating by through the skylight and hanging carousel horses.

Very large mall in Leipziger Platz, near many attractions and the rail system for easy access. Due to its central location, it makes it an ideal place to visit if you are in the area doing your normal touristy duties. As with most German architecture, it is well laid out and very aesthetically pleasing. Three floors of goodies, whether it be chocolates, the great Aldi's, food or German clothing and goods. The food is your standard mall food, so do not expect any high end dining, but not many malls would boast spectacular sit down dining. I ended up eating at an Indian restaurant, which slang out some pretty tasty dishes actually. It can get quite crowded on the weekends, but do not let that stop you from visiting this establishment. In the end, it is your standard large mall, but if you are in the area, it may be worth it to stop by and take a peek.

Mall of Berlin is massive and easy access by the u-bahn with the closest stop being potsdamer platz. There are signs when you get off at the train station that tell you mall of Berlin is only 150m away. Get ready to be astounded as the mall is massive with over 100 shops. I think around mid January is when sales happen in Europe, so there were heaps of sales when I went. My travel companion got her most desired down jacket for one third the price. There is a massive uniqlo store if you're looking to stock up on thermals. The store is much larger and contains more variety in stock than the store in Sydney. On the ground floor, there is a massive food court with at least three doner kebab joints to choose from. If you exit the mall in the opposite direction, you can go left and walk to the holocaust memorial and Hitlers bunker. Going to the right will take you to check point Charlie. Worth a visit if you enjoy shopping!

TL;DR - Big brand shopping in a well laid out and modern mall. This was a new addition since my last visit to Berlin. Close to Potsdamer Platz it's a major new shopping destination which is really well presented - two big halves, connected by a wide open covered concourse. The shops are the types of stores you'd expect to see in most malls, but the place is bright and new and modern so it's very pleasant to wander around. A nice touch is the food court where they have signs showing you where to go to try the foods of different countries. Our tip top tip is to head to basement for a quick coffee - there's a branch of Kaiser's down there with a sit in cafe serving pastries, sandwiches and coffees much cheaper than you'll find upstairs.

Read the reviews for the other malls and so we decided to go here. Big disappointment. We might as well have been shopping in Palmdale. The food court was good. I'll give a thumbs up on that, but otherwise...meh. Walking back to our hotel we walked right past Bikini Berlin and went in. This mall had my attention. So much more imagination was put into it and less of the brands that I would see at home. I have no opinion on the food as we'd already eaten at Mall Berlin.

A very large mall in Berlin. Great for a rainy day in Berlin or if you just feel like some shopping. Nice selection of stores and an extensive food court. The restrooms are very clean and worth a trip. Recommended.

Mall of Berlin is massive and can be very crowded. There are many shops in the mall and many food places that you're spoiled for choice. It's a real shame that they close on Sundays.

It was pretty big I will give you that. However it was easy to get turned around and the food prices around the area are a lot higher than if you just went somewhere else to eat. So go shop here if you want clothes from certain brands or items but other than that it's just another mall.

Seriously, I can't think of anything wrong with this place. I mean, as an outsider, an American, the price of clothing seems to be high. But it's a nice place and they have a lot of nice stores. Levis, Tommy Hilfiger, and other American brands will be more, but that should be expected. What's my favorite part of this mall besides it's just really beautiful inside and out? The food court. Silly huh? But they have a really great variety of cuisine including some good German places. I ate twice here and was happy both times. They also have some good vegetarian options, which my daughter took advantage of. I also love that almost every place serves beer and in glasses. Don't see that here much at all. But you are probably wondering how I can write a review about a mall in another country. Well my daughter's luggage was lost in transit to Berlin and so we had no choice but to go shopping and this was a great place to do it at. And we weren't sure how soon they would find her luggage so we did have to return for a second visit when they didn't find it within 24 hours. We spent several hours here each visit. What else? I believe they have an underground parking lot. Nice bathrooms that cost about 50 cents or so. The toilets don't have paper covers for protection. Instead, after you flush, the toilet seat cleans itself. I'll upload the video my daughter took if I am able to upload a video. Also, they do have elevators and escalators. The mall is about three floors tall plus a basement level. Other interesting things: It has two sides, which aren't connected, but there is cover to go across if it's raining or snowing. Smoking outside only. I believe the Zara store and H&M were 2-3 stories tall. There's a couple stores like Kaisers. A few Berlin tourist shops, which were pretty good. Free wi-fi. Check out their site for everything else including current stores and restaurants. It's located close to other great places like the Sony Center. The underground train is super close. We took U2. Bring cash for the food court. Like many other places in Berlin, they don't all take credit cards.

This is probably the best mall in Berlin. It looks just like the better malls in the United States, carrying both higher end, mainly European brand names, as well as young staples like H&M, Zara and Hollister. A good selection of very affordable "no name" fashion boutiques and shoe stores. No sales when I went. The food court on the second level gets pretty crowded. There is a decent selection of International food, with a few healthier options. Prices are in the 7-10 EUR range for a lunch combo. What this mall lacks entirely are a few higher end dining options, for those who prefer a more relaxed dining experience including wait service. Also no coffee shops with indoor seating, disappointing. When I am in Europe, I am all about my 4 PM coffee with a slice of cake. There is a parking garage below, or you can take the S-Bahn to Potsdamer Platz, it is a short 2 minute walk from the station.

Nothing special about this mall and no real reason to visit unless it's raining or too cold outside. Here's a tip to mall management, if you'd like happy customers who return and also recommend to others, don't charge .50€ to use the toilet. You're a massive facility that sells food and beverages. Providing basic services are a cost of doing business and not a way to make money. It's not that expensive to keep a bathroom clean and tidy.

I loved Mall of Berlin! It's a stylish, modern, spacious and high-end shopping mall. Very clean and there was a good mix of shops even if they're on the pricier side. I went there mainly for Lindt chocolate but vas pleasantly surprised that they had Kusmi tea Paris. Great mall, if you have money to spend!

Upside: Great mall, many shops, big enough to not feel crowded. Downside: Parking is unbelievably expensive (2,50 per started hour)! What, I come here to spend a fortune and then you rip me off for parking?! I won't be a regular shopper at this place because of that.

It's my first time to write a feedback or a review online, but I wanted to let everyone knows what happened today. I am originally from Israel, and I live and study in Berlin. My german is not good yet but I'm working on it. I went to Saturn in Mall of Berlin on January 26th 2018 around 1 PM, I was looking for a screen protector for my iPhone and I approached the first gentleman there and I said: "Hallo, I'm looking for a iPhone X screen protector". The gentleman didn't even bother to look at me and he kept looking at his computer screen and said in German. "I don't speak English, only Deutsch". and waved with his hand to me to go away and not bother him because simply he doesn't speak english. I told him politely, "Is this the way to deal with your customers?" He said in English "That guy speak english", pointing at his colleague. I was really shocked and went to the other gentleman, and said: "Hello, first I just want to tell you, your colleague refused to help me and said he doesn't speak English ...." he interrupted me and said: "He doesn't have to speak English" I said "But your store is in the mall, and most people here are tourists and don't speak German" he replied "Yeah, but we are in Deutschland we speak Deutsch". I left the store feeling really bad after experiencing for the first time what racism is like. I understand that some people don't speak English. But there's a better way to tell customers to approach other colleagues if they need help. If the first gentleman said (Even in Deutsch) "I don't speak English, but my colleague over there does, please ask him for help". If he just said that I would be apologizing to him for not being able to understand or speak Deutsch. In the other hand, how come Saturn hire people in their branch in the mall (where a big part of their customers are tourists) who don't speak English.

This is me beeing nice. The MAll of Berlin looks like a 5 star Place for shopping on the website and while getting closer the entrance doors from the outside. Im sad to say that this supposedly shopping mecca did not deliver. There are plenty of high end shops there but the feeling is a bit sterile and the place has a serious flaw when it comes to the restrooms. There just arent enough for invading christmas shopper. Me and my girlfriend where looking for the restrooms when we first got there and found out that we had to pass the entering floor as well as the following going up to the top floor where the restrooms where. Lucky me beeing a guy and all so i could walk right in. The girlfriend wasnt as lucky and had to stand 20 minutes in a 10 meter line. I also heard the lady working there that she told a woman with a small boy that they had to stand in line as the rest even if he "had" to go. How do you tell a 5 ish something kid to wait???? Not good at all......... Was happy to see Bershka there wich we dont have in Sweden but only to find out they only had womens clothing and nothing for men. = ( Now ive tried the new fancy shopping mall in Berlin but i think i will go somewhere else next time.

This huge mall is located near Potsdam Place and made a convenient pit stop when looking for a cheap place to eat and free loos. When we went around 6ish on a cold day in December, there was a peaceful protest going on by a union as according to the leaflets they distributed, the mall had been built by cheap Eastern European labor. Once past this gauntlet, we entered an atrium, and in between the Santa figurine and a Christmas tree, the mall had put together it's owned version of a mini-Christmas market with lots of food and artisanal carts. I just had a quick scan of this, before hurrying up to the 3rd floor, where the signs pointed to the food court being located. However, before going up the escalators, my eyes were caught by the plaque on the floor, and it was a quote by president Obama. My German being fairly non-existent, I have no clue what it's says, but tickled my fancy that American consumerism was def established in the former East Berlin area, and it had the presidents stamp of approval too. The loos were excellent, very clean and nice, but had to pay 50 cents, and that was not refunded against shopping. There is a ton of food choice and also lots of seating available. Avoided the Chinese offerings as the oil smell coming from around that food shop smelt stale, and instead got a Thai sampler (fish, chicken x2, veg and rice) for 6.90 and my brother got the Laksa for around the same price. I liked my sampler, pretty decent although you could tell the used regular sugar rather than palm sugar for the sauce. My brother's laksa was too coconutty and sour, would have also liked it more spicy. My other dinning companion got a chicken biryani - it was crap, have had better, rice want basmati and no indian flavours. The best plate we got was from the Vietnamese, and the lady was so nice - we didn't want Tofu, so the lady substituted vegetables for the same price. If going back, I would def do Vietnamese again - it had the best, clean flavours. Oh and the best part? Free wifi, with an excellent connection (woot!). I can see us going back here during the week in Berlin, again :) Also Check out Peek & Cloppenburg- excellent shopping for an emergency winter coat. Excellent Service!

A great shopping centre. One of the larger ones in Berlin. You can find most type of shops in Mall of Berlin. At the top floor you can find a large food quarters that cointains food specialities from all over the world!

Pretty good mall with lots of shops. The food court is huge with a lot of variety; however the tables weren't always the cleanest.

It's a beautiful structure and there are plenty of stores and a nice food court with McDonald's :) I went there to find a coat and I sure did find a good deal at a good price but I don't even know what was the store name all and all it was a nice shopping experience

Today the mall opened - I pass here every day on my way to work. Needed some stuff from a drug store and went in. The name doesn't lie: it's a mall. But that's it. No new concept of shopping but more of the same old 1990 shopping experience. Big German and international stores with little surprises. A food court (I thought that we were done with those!?) Not even an architectural gem. Only wonderful pictures of how Berlin used to look like. Berlin could have build something cool - more autochthonous, but the result is lame. Is this really going to work? What did catch my attention is that it has two groceries and apparently all shops are open till midnight and even on Sundays. No more stressful grocery shopping on Saturdays? That would be fantastic.

Near Potsdamer Platz and about 1km from Checkpoint Charlie. The size of this mall is incredible! So much choice - I think you'd need a full day here alone to shop and try out all the different food places. Well worth a visit - even if all you want to do is window shop!!!

Came here in search of some Superga sneaks and after 4 stores at the Mall of Berlin and Galeries Lafayette - I finally found them. Mall of Berlin is a place to go with something in mind otherwise it's an endless maze of stores and food.

Very nice new Mall. I love the Berlin Coffee shop. So much better than Starbucks. And try Nice ice cream on the top floor. Very interesting ice cream flavors.
