Mall of Sofia

It's great to be available early on Sunday morning. A mall with plenty of dining options and a variety of other shops. The parking was free for the first two hours last time I checked. It’s clean but can get crowded on weekends. It is located in a very central area and is quite well-maintained.

Located in the heart of the city, there is something for everyone. From various shops to cinemas and places to eat. Unlike other malls where the first 2 parking hours are free, in this one (as it’s in the city center) it’s free for only 15 minutes. Afterwards it’s 2 leva (around 1 euro) per hour.

Very central location, meters away walking distance from the subway. Clean and well-maintained! Diverse shopping options, entertainment facilities and dining choices. There is a nice mix between international and local brands. There are definitely better shopping malls in Sofia than this one but Mall of Sofia is not too shabby either. The cinema is a very modern and up-to-date IMAX.

When you step into this mall, the first thing that hits you is a strong, unpleasant smell. Unfortunately, it lingers throughout the entire space, whether it's the scent of acetone from a nail polish stand for women or other unpleasantries, likely due to poor ventilation. It's everywhere! Even in the dining area. Secondly, the mall feels overly crowded, exacerbated by sparkling signage that adds to the feeling of suffocation. Overall, not a pleasant experience 🥴

One of the first malls in Sofia, it's fairly small but has the most basic and needed stores and a small Ikea. The food court is very basic, but there is a Happy chain. There is a movie theater, several services, and fairly good underground parking. Usually, it's not very full, so you can have a good shopping experience.

It's a fine a mall overall, but there are better options in Sofia. For store variety Paradise and Serdika are better. The only reason to come to Mall Of Sofia if you wanna watch a movie in IMAX.

Nice, relatively big mall. Lots of shops to choose from. Some restaurants to choose from, many are fast food. Smallest IKEA we have ever seen. Movie theater on top floor. Easy access to/from red and yellow Metro subway lines.

Nice mall, very well located, good cinema, good fast food selection, great variety of stores for its small size, well kept and updated since its opening close to 20 years ago. Would benefit from more restaurant options, an even larger fast food selection, and some more interesting clothing brands than what's present in almost every Bulgarian mall.
