Very nice hotel. Modern and clean. Room adequate size and good modern bathroom. Staff were very pleasant and helpful, particularly on reception. Very good breakfast choice included in price. Nice location overlooking the marina and easy bus transport into town.

The hotel is situated half an hour walk along the seafront from Brighton Pier. The Club Sea View room on the 3rd floor with balcony was excellent overlooking the Marina. The presentation of the room was welcoming and roomy. The large ensuite shower was spotless. Peaceful and quite at night. Cannot fault the hotel overall for the cleanliness of the common areas like the hallways or dining spaces. Reception staff were courteous and polite. We would definitely recommend this Hotel to family and friends and hope to revisit the hotel in the near future.

This was a special visit for me after 60 years. We couldn't have picked a better hotel. Spotlessly clean friendly helpful staff and a great room with everything we needed overlooking marina. The shower was amazing and the bed comfy. We had 2 nights for a very reasonable price and wished we could have stayed longer. I have stayed at a top hotel in Wales but this beats that by miles. I highly recommend the Malmaison.

This hotel was very nice. The good: very comfortable bed, large plush towels, free drinks on days that you choose not to have the maid in (you can still get free towels/ supplies at reception). Nice pub lounge area with great views. The less good: We had a twin room, but weren't told at reception or when booking that this was also a disabled room. No view from our room, but we didn't mind. The decor is a bit naff though, and could use an upgrade. All the cabinets etc are in excellent condition, but the colours and decor are showing their age.

Have stayed 2 nights for our anniversary and we were made to feel so welcome! Sam was on reception when we checked in and he was very helpful, even at the time of night we checked in! ||Breakfast was delicious, lots of choice; the eggs Benedict was beautiful! The best I’ve had in a long time! We didn’t eat our evening meal in the hotel as wanted to venture out to one of the nearby restaurants. ||Our room was lovely, clean and modern with a stunning view over the marina from the balcony (even though there were gale force winds!). I was pleasantly surprised by rose petals from the door to the balcony and arranged in a beautiful heart on the bed (my partner had arranged and the hotel delivered!)||Highly recommend this hotel, will definitely be coming back!

What a hotel! Certainly a top choice in the end. I tend to find hotels noisy but not this one. Our room was lovely, compact but perfect with a great view of the marina. ||We cannot fault the staff, with particular thanks to Connor (and Charlie) for wonderful service. Thanks to you all

Really lovely staff. Helped reunite me with property I had left in the room. Can't fault the view or location. Restaurant was really good. Added bonus found out I could bring the dogs next time.

Yelp
Nice hotel in the center of the city, however the Wi-Fi sucked and the 90 percent of the channels on the tv didn't come in. The tv thing may not be a big deal while on vacation, but only having 1 channel available to watch when you're winding down before bed, sucks. I believe my hubby booked this through a third party and it was supposed to be a 4 star hotel, I've been to better. This was for our honeymoon so we did experience better hotels while traveling through Europe. Ps.. France hotels sucked altogether. So this hotel was still better than France.

Yelp
Poorly equipped hotel in a weird location. Not worth the overpriced rooms when there are so many better hotels in Brighton. I booked an ocean view room in peak season about two months out. The room price was high at 250GBP but Malmaison is normally a good hotel so I figured it would be worth the price. Arriving at this hotel I could see it was in a weird location. Firstly the Marina itself is a little our from the town center so not that easy to get to and the hotel is in the middle of a mall of sorts with an entrance below an Indian restaurant and surrounded by mid tier restaurants like Nandos. There is a big Asda across the way and a McDonald's next to the mall. The hotel has no parking so you have to use the free public parking lot next to McDonald's. The hotel itself is pretty poorly appointed. It has no gym or any other facilities beyond a small bar and restaurant where for 18 GBP a day you can have a pretty sorry looking breakfast. The room itself was small and nicely decorated with cool wallpaper of x-rayed luggage. The bed was comfortable but very little space for such an expensive room. The bathroom was tiny and the walk in shower was not level so water poured out onto the mat and floor when using it. The 'ocean view' that I paid extra for was a communal balcony that all the ocean view rooms had access to. It was a weird setup and multiple nights I could hear other guests right outside my window smoking and talking at 1am. It wasn't a bad hotel but it was more what I'd expect from a Travel Lodge or cheap chain not Malmaison and not at the price they charge. There are so many hotels in Brighton do yourself a favor and avoid this one.
