Malolo Island Resort

Greeted at the dock by singing staff - a fun welcome. Our arrival was quick and comprehensive as we were taken through the facilities and activities available. Our room was titled Ocean View but we are one of the few units set further back. We asked to move and that happened in a couple of days. There are lots of activities such as fishing and snorkelling. We would recommend Mociu Island (climb to the top for great photos) and also the Barrier Reef for snorkelling. The snorkelling at the actual resort is OK however does not compare to the open water. Island hopping and the island pub crawl were also a lot of fun. Most activities that take you away from the resort and fairly expensive and there is lots to do (for free). There are also free activities at night such as the Fire Dance, Karaoke and other entertainment. Food was very good - we were on the meals package. Plenty of choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff were considerate and helpful. We enjoyed our stay immensely!

All the Malolo staff are fantastic. Everywhere you go.||The wait staff remember everyone's name from day 1. The kids (and adults) love them.||The musicians and singers are the best I've heard. Fijians seem to be born to sing and the entertainment they provide adds so much to the Malolo experience.||The food quality is excellent. In particular, Tree Tops was fine dining for our adult group and we loved it. ||The beach bar was good and in a perfect location.||Snorkelling just steps off the beach is exhilarating. We also enjoyed the kayaks, SUPS and Hobie Cats. ||The kids enjoyed Kids Club and had heaps of fun with the endless activities. The staff here are so impressive and seem to excel in their jobs. ||Spa excellent.||Reception and boutique both very helpful.||||Finally, the weather in June was superb. 24-28 degrees C is near-perfect.

A lovely Fiji run family friendly resort in lovely Malolo island. A majority of the cottages “bures” have excellent sea views. It’s kept very clean and tidy and its rustic charm is supported by everything working. Added to this the huge asset of its wonderful and friendly staff completes a welcoming stay. We chose the meals included package and ate at each of the three restaurants and were never disappointed. The shows put on were marvellous and the kids club and excursions really well managed. We would go back in a heartbeat!

This resort is phenomenal!! Rooms are spacious and spotless, all with amazing sea views. The resort facilities and grounds were all well maintained and we loved the pools. Snorkelling off the beach was great (colourful coral, huge amount & variety of fish, & we even saw a stingray). ||The staff were nothing short of amazing, very welcoming and so great with our three year old. Our daughter has a severe egg allergy and the kitchen and dining staff went above and beyond to make sure she was well catered for, they even made her a special cake. ||Thank you so much Malolo for making our trip stress free and so magical.

The staff at Mololo Island Resort made our stay memorable and so enjoyable. They were really friendly and helpful and could not have done more to make us feel welcome and relaxed. The food at the Beach Bar, Terrace and Treetops was absolutely delicious and fresh and the service was impeccable. The buires are clean and comfortable with a stunning outlook across the water. Snorkel off the beach to see hundreds of different types of reef fish and if you're lucky, a turtle, ray or little reef shark. Masks, snorkels and flippers available there. Borrow a kayak, SUP or hobicat to explore a bit further. Short hikes up the hill behind the resort are fun. Recommend trip to local village - bring fijiian cash to make a donation to the school and buy beautiful handicrafts. Lots of other activities available. Highly recommend Mololo Island Resort.

Malolo is incredible! The place, the people. It was our second time staying and it will not be our last. It felt like going home. The same staff were there. It’s a truly special place. We went with our kids but you can definitely just go as a couple or on a girls trip which I’m looking forward to doing as well! They have different activities going on each day land and sea. Food, drinks and service is stunning! You can snorkel right of their beach. I highly recommend to everyone

We were a family of four with two adult children. A great experience. Staff was friendly and helpful. Other guests were kind as well. Food was very good but still approachable. Water toys were good quality and easily available. Great snorkeling off shore. Did not use kids club but it looked very good. We hope to return.

Malolo Island Resort was beautiful! We loved the quiet and calm atmosphere. It had a bit of a vintage feel to it, which we really loved. The staff were amazing and helpful. We had a fantastic stay!
