Malolo Island Resort

What a wonderful time!! The resort was so lovely, there was so much to do. I can't even describe how incredible the staff was, they were so kind and hospitable. The views at the beach were amazing. There were two different pools (adults and kids), and three different restaurants (adults, kids, and by the beach). The food at all three restaurants was delicious and so fancy. There was also an adult lounge that was air conditioned. The rooms were little houses that were basically one room with a bathroom, great size for a family of four. Absolutely amazing all around, the staff (waiters, bartenders, kids club, activities, room service, garden work, dancing, cooks, and everyone!!!) really made it the best experience.

We had a wonderful time at this resort set in a stunning island location. Loved the beach bures with ours being in a very quiet, peaceful location farther away from pool etc. Customer service was excellent and the staff friendly and very welcoming. We didn't have children with us but could see how happy and attached the children were to staff from the kids club and there seemed to be a good range of activities for them. The food and service at the Treetops and Terrace Restaurants was excellent. Loved the cocktails at Happy Hour at the Beach Bar.||There was also a good selection of free and charged activities. The free Management Cocktail night and Fijian Meice was the highlight. The staff performances and beautiful singing were wonderful. We really appreciated the effort that the staff went to to make this a special night. With the paid activities, we especially loved snorkelling at their private marine reserve at Mocia island and the visit to the local village (I purchased quite a few pieces of jewellery from the villagers for the grand daughters). You can also see a good variety of marine life (e.g. starfish, sea cucumbers, banner fish, parrot fish, unicorn fish) when snorkelling in front of the resort but there is very little coral and some damage, partly due to people not being careful with their flippers. We wanted to do daily walks on the bush trails for exercise but they are mostly too steep and gravelly. In summary, we absolutely loved this resort and the staff and will definately be back again, hopefully with the grand children so they can share in this wonderful experience! Great family destination. Proximity to other islands & cloudbreak was an added bonus. Highly recommend Sea Fiji transfer to & from Port Denarau. The island hopping tour and snorkelling sand bar were fantastic. PS Have a meal plan pre booked

Beautiful Malolo you have our hearts. Such a relaxing and lovely time spent on the island. The staff are more like friends and family to us all and we had a superb time. ||We stayed in Bure 39 which was a decent walk from the main area but we needed to walk off the food anyway ! Bure was beautifully appointed and quite big for two of us. ||All staff were so friendly and the kids club and nanny’s for our grandchildren were just amazing. ||Food and beverages were great - a good variety of food and some great cocktails and drinks available. ||Perhaps our only issue was with mosquitos although the resort gardens are sprayed morning and night and there is personal Aeroguard provided in your Bure. As long as you spray yourself you should be ok. ||We would definitely go to Malolo Island again for the great snorkelling right out front off the beach and the kayaking to the little island is fun too. ||We took a boat trip and picnic to Honeymoon Island with the family one day which was fantastic too. 15 minutes from Malolo and you have your own private island for a couple of hours ! Just beautiful.

Amazing resort that looks to have been newly renovated as the rooms and public areas look amazing.|The management staff were very welcoming and paired with the lovely staff made the stay even better. The beaches were quite nice and the pools were an amazing spot to spend the day rain or shine.|New years was especially pleasant with all of the events they put on and how special they made it feel.|The food was also amazing, loved the array of choices. I found that lunch had much more food than dinner, but still great on all accounts.

Paradise has been found here in Malolo, we couldn’t speak highly enough of this resort. |The welcome is warm, food is excellent and the snorkeling 50metres off the beach is fantastic, at both high and low tides. |We had the meals package which was more food than we could eat and all excellent quality in a beautiful setting. Yes the cost is high, but about the same as on the mainland Fiji. ||There are a lot of families here. The adults only pool and restaurant were just that, such peace and quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Perfect for couples.||The rooms were beautifully set up, with everything you need. The air conditioning was a a little noisy at times, but nothing you can’t sleep through- and I,m a very light sleeper. |The turndown service every night is a nice touch. ||All snorkeling equipment is supplied as well as insect repellant so no need to bring your own.

We stayed here after Christmas 2024 and over New years 2025. The staff was amazing from the start with the welcoming songs on arrival. The island is vehicle free ( boats only)which was really nice and quiet.|Ally really made a difference around the resort, especially watching how she cares for the kids. |Snorkelling is a must with many fish just feet from the shore.|I would have given a perfect review except for the extra charge for use of the banana boat ride. The teen activities event board said volleyball, banana boat ride at 2:30-4:30pm, after my daughter was already on the the banana boat and moving an employee came over and said I needed to sign for $55 charge for the banana boat. This should have been discussed before not after as I was not given a option.|Front desk did half the charge which is better than nothing.|Over all we had a great time here at malolo resort a sure cry from the horrible experience at musket cove just 15 minute boat ride next island (Earlier that week).| Malolo island resort made all the difference in my outlook on Fiji. Great family friendly, quiet relaxing vacation. |Thanks Malolo resort staff until next time.

This is one of the loveliest resorts I’ve ever stayed in! The staff were incredible- shout out to Meli who looked after us wonderfully! The food was really excellent quality and there was lots of variety. The snorkelling was amazing!! the rooms were great, right next to the beach - we managed to fit 4 adults quite comfortably in the oceanview bure (the day beds are comfortable and fine if you are 5ft6 or below!) a fantastic and special place to stay, I highly recommend!
