Malolo Island Resort

Stayed at Malolo 5 times now with my family - from when they were 6-8 to now 16-18 years old. Always great for families - staff first class service and always friendly - Lyka, Atu, Mirry - all staff exceptional. Kids Club staff were always great when our boys were younger. If you want a minimal kids experience avoid school holiday time in Australia or NZ. Best Singers as well - perfect music over dinner and drinks. However, we still miss “old Jim”!!!!!! Our boys loved him taking them out on the sailing boats etc. He was the best outdoor /water activity host we have ever seen. Malolo needs a new “Jim” for the kids (that aren’t in kids club). Trolling excursion was fun and successful - it’s expensive but we loved it. Captain Tom and Seva were great hosts. Fijian Lovo buffet was spectacular so recommend you stay when they are on. Snorkling off the beach is great with great range of fish to see. Only downside is that you don’t seem to be able to get food between breakfast ending at 9:30am and lunch starting at 12noon. Leilani’s spa is also not to be missed - had 90mns massage was so relaxing I think I fell asleep - came out refreshed and energised. Strongly Recommend.

Highly recommended! We just returned from a week at Malolo Island Resort and we had a wonderful time! The property is beautiful and it's a great location overall. It's easy to do day tours by boat like Island hopping that includes the Castaway Island or the floating bars like Cloud 9 & Seventh Heaven. The food is great and is mostly locally sourced and prepared! Malolo and the sister resort on the Island have their own vegetable garden for example. The staff is the best! This is not a typical big chain hotel. The hotel is owned and run by locals. Many of the staff members live in the village on the island and commute by boat. We loved getting to know the staff members and learn all about the Fijian culture. Don't miss experiencing a Kava ceremony and consider visiting one of the villages on the Island offered as a guided tour by the resort.

My husband and I came here for our honeymoon and from the moment we stepped off the ferry, every second has been incredible. We cannot thank the staff enough, every single person has been so warm, friendly and just genuinely wants everyone to have an amazing stay. The evenings are quiet, which is exactly what we wanted for our honeymoon. All the food we had was lovely (food is on the expensive side, but that’s what you expect coming to an island resort). We did the day trips, snorkelling around the resort (which is free!), the hike and just completely chilled out. It was everything we wanted for the 2nd part of our honeymoon. We will 100% be coming back again! Special shout out to Atu at the pool bar! Luke & Save for being our guides up the mountain at 5am & still bringing the vibes! & Tati for the great chats about Fiji history! We’ll definitely be back. Kate & Ben 😊

We stayed with a large family group over Christmas and had the most wonderful time - with particular thanks to Mirry, Atu & Ace who were all incredible. Malolo is such a beautiful resort, INCREDIBLE food (thank you Vikesh for everything - including going above and beyond to make our traditional Danish rice pudding), kind and lovely staff, and great activities that the resort seamlessly organises for you. We all had the most wonderful time!

No words could explain our 5 night stay on Malolo Island but pure magical. From the Ferry transfer from Denarau to the warm greeting at the dock by island staff. From check in to the last goodbye the whole holiday vibe was of bliss and relaxation. The restaurant food was 5 star. If you aren’t bringing kids no problem, the adult only restaurant and pool area has you covered. Snorkeling straight out from our room was so amazing. staff were always smiling and could not do enough to make our stay fantastic. If you want comfy beds this is the place to stay. We even fitted in a couples massage at the day spa and omg pure relaxing. We Downloaded the Malolo island App, this made booking restaurants and water sports and island trips so easy.

My husband and I, our daughter and partner and 4 year old granddaughter recently returned from 7 nights at Malolo Island Resort. What an amazing time we all had, exceeding all expectations. We had the meal package which was fantastic. Our bures were gorgeous, clean, comfortable and views to die for. Pools ( children's and adults) were lovely. Lots of watersports right out front, paddleboards, kayaks, snorkelling all included. The staff were so lovely and friendly. Only regret was that I didn't book for longer. Can't wait to go back.

We absolutely love Malolo resort. Amazing community, clean rooms, extremely friendly people and kids club is GREAT. Highly recommended 👌 Snorkling is great too. Can't wait to visit Malolo again. 🥰🥰

Fantastic location, easy to reach from Port Denaru. We stayed five nights and could have stayed so much longer. Resort was clean and tidy, relaxing with so many activities/entertainment. Resort food was amazing and the staff couldn’t do enough to help. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much.
