We loved our stay in the Malu Khmer Villas. The villa was quite large compared to what we expected with the room kitted our nicely for amenities. The staff were lovely and organised our tuk tuk tour to the temple district (even arranged a packed breakfast for our sunrise at Angkor Wat). It is not in the centre of Siem Reap however there is always a tuk tuk at the hotel that can take you to the centre of town in a couple of mins. Would happily recommend this hotel and hope we can come back sometime in the future

As a family of 4, we took two rooms here for three days in December. The boutique hotel is a welcome respite in a busy city. Rooms are charming and reasonably well appointed with flat screen, bathroom with tub and shower. The pool is the center of the hotel, and used from early morning till evening. The staff cannot do enough for you. For example, when I awoke from a short nap at the pool, I found the staff had made delicious, fresh banana milkshakes for everyone (including myself) laying by the pool. So sweet! They arranged drivers and a visit to APOPO for us. Very accomodating.

I would like to be able to give 5 stars for the Malu Khmer because the staff were amazingly helpful, the pool was lovely, the bed was comfy and the pick up from the airport was free. We also liked the location on a leafy road about 5mins. tuk tuk drive from the centre. Unfortunately though the hotel was not spotless, the shower was a bit of a dribble, dinner in the hotel was not cheap and it took about an hour for us to be served although we were the only two people in the dining room and the first room they offered us looked straight out onto a wall 2 feet away. Sleep quality was poor because despite the comfy beds the aircon was pretty noisy. The staff and the location saved the Malu Khmer from getting only 3 stars.

This is our last night but want to review it now. I cant begin to tell you how amazing this place is. The staff are exceptional 😊. We have stayed here for 7 nights and don’t have want to leave! Nothing is too much for them and have treated us so well. The pool is a little oasis, the grounds are lush and well kept. Special thanks to Kim, arkoun and Vanny (tuk tuk driver) for making our stay so fantastic. You’ve got to stay in the wooden bungalow with the jacuzzi. Just a 15/20 minute walk to Pub Street. See you next year 😊😊. Oooo I can’t forget to mention the pool bunny 🐰and thank you for our treats on our last night

Thanks to the team of malu kmehr villas for our wonderful stay. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay very much. The villa was simple but well appointed and quite charming being completely made out of wood. ||Breakfast was nice, the mango salad for lunch was phenomenal, the free mangos we received was a very nice touch, everybody, but especially Seyha, were just wonderful.||If you look for something quiet, small, down to earth and (budget) friendly, this might just be the right spot for you!!!||If we ever get to Siem Reap again, we won't hesitate to stay at Malu Kmehr Villas another time!

I don't know where to start, but please stay at Malu Khmer Villa. We spent two nights at this beautiful villa for our 8th wedding anniversary. The owner and staff did the great job. It exceeded our expectations. Mr. Vibol, the Genaral Manager, had realized that the trip was our anniversary, so he tried to set up our room very special. The room was decorated with balloons, rose petals, swan towels,... It looked brilliantly wonderful. Thanks for the awesome arrangement. The wooden villa is beautiful and huge in size. The AC was super cold and water pressure was perfect. There was a private pool for the villa and another one for everyone. We were surprised as a small wedding cake was handed to us by the owner and wished us good luck. Thank you very much for your kindness. The staff were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The location is good and quiet. Each villa is surrounded by tropical garden. I would recommend for everyone who plans a trip to Siem Reap. Especially, honeymooners.

When I start searching online for my ideal hotel to stay before my birthday trip in Siem Reap, Malu Khmer caught my eyes. Their lush vegetation, their spacious and stylish rooms, the excellent comments. As I traveled solo and the long stay in Cambodia (three weeks in Siem Reap, noone believe that), a nice, quiet and friendly place is very important, and luckily Malu Khmer fits all my requirement. I stayed in this hotel for a total of 19 nights, (Malu Khmer should give me a VIP status. lol), 16 nights in the Delux Poolside and three nights in their twin suits. ||Highlights included||1. Super friendly and helpful staff and manager. They always greet you with a smile, no matter what the situation is. Vibol the manager even offered to take me to the rice field when his family had a rice harvesting event, though it was cancelled later due to unexpected circumstance. ||2. I had a special request for my breakfast, as I only eat fruits or fruit smoothie in the morning, and they could accommodate that, even though a fruit breakfast is NOT on their menu! Plus they helped me to get a coconut outside the hotel almost every morning for my morning drink, without any extra charge besides price of the coconut. ||They also prepare breakfast box for you when you go see the sunrise in early morning.||3. Vibol the manager offered me a free dinner for my birthday and long stay in the hotel.||4. Their cook is an excellent one and price is VERY reasonable for the quality.||5. Tuk tuk drivers are always available outside the hotel, day and night.||||Only one issue with Malu Khmer is there are lots of mosquitos in the hotel public area, even in rooms. I needed to constantly put on bug repellent when I was outside my room and lemon grass oil at night for my sleep. They provide mosquito net in every room, but I never use it. For people who attracts mosquito like me, this might be a problem. ||||Despite the mosquito issue, I would still highly recommend this villa for your stay in Siem Reap if you want an unforgetable experience in Cambodia.

I just spent three nights at Malu Khmer and I am glad I picked this place. A lot of places seem really loud (who put the Park Hyatt at the busiest road ???) But this one is a small little oasis - still just a 5min tuk tuk ride to the centre. Breakfast is egg your way, bread, croissants, fruit and good coffee.
