"When visiting Vulcano, head to this iconic wine bar near the harbor to try its famous pane cunzatu, an open-faced sandwich that can be stacked with a variety of fresh ingredients." - Travel + Leisure Editors
Great restaurant with good food and nice service. The bread is so crispy and top with fresh salad, the swordfish is also well executed. We had an amazing dinner with friendly staff (might need reservations in advance since they are full). Must come back next time!

First time trying the cunzatu, it's like a salad on a big toast or an uncooked pizza. Quite good and filling, you do not need to order more than one for lunch! The venue itself is a little remote but really nice with the terrace. Worth paying a visit if you are in the island for a day.

Pane cunzatu is like a huge salad on toasted crust. Perfect to reload batteries after a hike on the nearby volcano. The location is a 10 min walk from the harbour but totally worth it. Very cozy and friendly.

A nice experience, very good selection of wines and the food was very nice.
The tuna steak was a little overcooked, but won't affect the rating.

Really nice location and really good typical and fresh food. But the price are really high.. 15€ for a "pane cunzatu" is crazy. Anywhere else you can have it for a normal price, paying just the meal and not the location

Crunchy bread with fresh ingredients on top. Sounds simple but tastes amazing. You have many choices from fish to meat or vegetarian and they also offer gluten-free bread. The place is quiet (not directly in the center)and lovely decorated. I totally recommend a visit.
