Exceptionally good. A great variety of choice from gluten free to sour dough breads. On a pricy side. They also sell delicious cookies and granola!

A nice small bakery. They have a good variety of bread, and they also have cookies. Interestingly, they sell a lot of products by weight, not by piece. The bouchées aperitif buns with olives were nice. The petit pain cacao was interesting to try but not something I’d want to repeat. The cookie was nice to try, too but the chocolate tasted a bit burnt. Unfortunately they did not have any croissants or pain au chocolat. Overall best time I’d want to try a different place but probably here my taste did not match the offerings so I still leave it at 5 stars

Raisin scone - 5 stars Studded with raisins, delicious nutty wholewheat flavour and not too sweet. Bouchées aux olives - 5 stars Small rectangles savoury from the cheese and olives. Chewy moist texture. Pompe à l’huile - 4 stars I've never had orange blossom bread before (or much orange blossom) and this was incredibly fragrant. It was too dry though and probably could've used butter. Pissaladière - 4.25 stars The onions were nicely caramelized on a thin crust. No anchovies. Would've tasted better heated up. Cacao bread - 4.25 stars Not too sweet!

I had one of pretty much everything at this bakery during my week in Nice and I can honestly say it’s all so, so good. Get there early to grab a slice of pizza, or just get a baguette or some bread and go find some cheese and olives to have yourself a pretty perfect snack.

Very authentic atmosphere and their chocolate cookies are personally my favorite ones in town. They're not overwhelming in term of taste when it comes to the amount of sugar and butter/fat. They're more on the crunchy side. Their bread is very good too.

The customer service was great. The lady behind the desk spoke better English than me. The coffee was made with care. The selection was perfect. They also accepted Apple Pay!

Gorgeous crusty sourdough. At last! We walked past this bakery several times and always tempted by the beautiful smell. At last today there was no visible long line, and we made our move. It has been a wonderful day of bread chomping on the sour dough loaf. We’ll have to come back for the other baked goods. It’s dough (❤️) at first sight/smell/taste. 😋

Yelp
j'ai acheté un pain merveilleux avec une grande croûte et à l'intérieur mou. C'était un pain de blé entier

Yelp
A friend and I stayed across the street from this lovely little family-owned shop, and we ended up going every day. Espresso is great, baked goods are PHENOMENAL! Every single thing we tried tasted wonderful, from breakfast scones to cookies to baguettes to pizzas. Highly recommend the coconut macaroons and carrot cinnamon bread. The owner is so kind and friendly, cannot recommend more! Try everything if you can! Planning my trip back to Nice ASAP so I can eat here again.

Yelp
I really wish I had gotten some of their pizzas, but I didn't have enough Euros nor did I have my credit card with me when I had stopped on by here. I instead got one of their baguettes, and it was delicious. Looks like this place is quite organic-minded and their pizzas in particular are sold by the kilogram. No croissants here, though, as they seem to focus on bread as opposed to pastries. Would love to come back here if I ever were to find myself back in Nice.

Yelp
Such a wonderful place; not just for the fantastic bread, but also the incredible service. When my friend and I went in, one of the owners chatted with us, asked our names and even remembered them when we left. That is a rare thing in France. And as for Nice, there aren't very many bakeries doing what Mama Baker is doing..making bread that tastes good. My friend and I got to try a little bit of all the breads, every one with unique qualities, every one equally delicious. The crust is crunchy, the inside (the mie/the crumb) is moist and spongy. I also had an epi des olives, it was so flavorful and full of plump olives. Anyways, this place is worth a visit if you're in the area, but it's also worth a visit if you're not in the area.
