I will not go back here to eat. I bought vegetables and when I got home to eat I took a bite of Mt cabbage and there was a piece of hard something. I looked at it and it was a piece of plastic with foil around the edge. I took it back to them and wasn't offered my money back but they would replace it. Why would I want more food when I just found this in my food. . Person seemed uncaring that I brought it back. It's clearly blends in with the cabbage

Great soul food restaurant! If you like down home dishes like collard greens and oxtail and neck bones, then you'll love Mama E's. If you don't like those dishes...try them at Mama Es and you will! Portion size is huge. Menu varies, but there's always a great selection!

I give this place a 4.5, the chicken wings and waffle are really good! The chicken wings has a nice crispy breading and really good flavor, the waffle has a very light cinnamon flavor, really taste home-made. The mac n cheese is very cheesy which is really nice, greens was a little bit salty but all in all I would go back to this place if I live around the area.

Love is an ingredient at this little joint. The mashed potatoes were the best I'd ever had in my life. Seriously. Ever. The fried chicken was great. The ladies working the counter we're amazing and made us feel right at home. The row of pies available was impressive and so very tempting. I'm glad we don't live closer.

Keith at Mama E's came on Live today... And didn't want to cook. And he showed all this good looking Soul Food. So I decided to come support and eat this delicious food 😋 Highly Recommend. Everyone is so professional and kind. Definitely will return. Peace and Love Always✨💜❤🖤💚😍

My husband saw this restaurant featured on the food network channel so we traveled from TX to see if the rumor was true...it was. Upon pulling up to the establishment it looked like a little hole in the wall, nothing special on the eye. On the inside, they had plenty of food behind a hot bar ready to serve but we chose to have our main course cooked to order. We settled for the famous "chicken and waffles", which was season good and was piping hot. For our sides we choose the shell mac n cheese, yams, mashed potatoes with gravy and greens. The sides were very filling and the portions were more than enough. To wash it all down we had their lemonade. We were too full for dessert, so we grabbed it to go (2 servings of banana pudding). Between the two of us we spent approximately $37. Mama E's did not disappoint and I would recommend if you are passing through town to make it pit stop.

It was absolutely delicious, the baked chicken just fell off the bone, collard greens had a good amount of salt and a back flavor of vinagar, mashed potatoes are excellent and the mac an cheese bake ... THAT Mac n Cheese Bake!!! Done and Done. I feel people saying no flavor or needed more might need to be tested for Covid or haven't recovered because that is a lie. Everything had a great amount of flavor, seasoning, and Love. We will most definitely return over and over again.

The picture is sooo pretty! And I was looking forward to a real southern feel of food. This was NOT it. The main course- oxtails, is good. Drowning it's own grease, but the flavor is there. Nothing else is it for me. The Mac and cheese is SOUR. Like I was given rotten food. The greens are salted, maybe ther is some vinegar in there and no other flavors. The yams kind of taste like sugar water with a hint of nutmeg. The peach cobler is just soo dry and so is the cornbread. 😩. I would not recommend or get again.
