Mama Mia - Gelato Italiano

Been here twice in as many days. Loved the gelato, taste was rich and creamy. The staff is friendly and courteous, i just wish it was a little bigger with more sitting space to enjoy our gelato on site. Highly recommend to satisfy the sweet cravings especially in the Zanzibar heat!

Variety of tasty flavors. It’s definitely a good break from Zanzibar heat. Located perfectly within the heart of Stone Town. Seating areas are available: 8 seats inside, a bench outside.

Had a quick cooling off gelato here. Tasted really good although portions were small.

The ice cream was cold and flavorful! The servers were kind to us and even took a photo of us for their cute photo wall!

Very nice, second time we've had their ice cream on the island. This was a nice, clean parlour. With more on offer than just the gelato - there were pastries, milkshakes, coffees and so on. The staff were friendly and the price very reasonable. I was pleasantly surprised at the bill. I thought it was 49usd for 8 ice creams, which I was happy to pay, but it was 49,000tzs which was about a third of the price - very happy!

Very tasty! High quality and flavorful. Have to go back. Especially chocolate, passion and lime.
