If you’re craving a solid shawarma experience in town, Mama Noura should be at the top of your list. I recently ordered a few dishes from them and honestly, the whole experience was spot-on.
I went for the Chicken Shawarma Plate and the Beef Shawarma Plate, and both hit the mark perfectly. The chicken was juicy, seasoned just right, and had that classic, comforting shawarma flavor you hope for. The beef was equally good — tender, flavorful, and not too greasy, which is sometimes hard to find. Both plates came with fresh sides that complemented the meat really well, making each bite balanced and satisfying.
To go with it, I tried a few of their drinks: Avocado Juice, Lemon Mint Juice, Milk with Banana, and of course, a classic Pepsi because why not?
The Avocado Juice was rich, creamy, and fresh — exactly how good avocado juice should be. You could tell it was made with real fruit, not the artificial, watery stuff you find elsewhere. The Lemon Mint Juice was refreshing and perfectly balanced between tangy and sweet, a great palate cleanser between the heavier bites of shawarma. The Milk with Banana was another standout — smooth, naturally sweet, and super filling. It reminded me of those homemade smoothies you’d get from a family kitchen. And well, Pepsi is Pepsi — you can’t go wrong there.
The service was quick and professional, and everything was packaged neatly. Even though I took it to-go, the food still arrived fresh, warm, and well-presented, which says a lot about how seriously they take their quality.
Overall, it was a genuinely great experience. From the food to the drinks to the overall vibe, Mama Noura delivered exactly what I was hoping for — hearty, flavorful meals without any unnecessary fuss. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to, and I highly recommend it if you’re in the mood for good, honest shawarma done right.
