Mama Noura’s food is still excellent and, in my opinion, sets the standard for shawarma in Riyadh. However, this review is written mainly to bring a serious service issue to management’s attention.
I was in the store at 12:41 AM on January 10, 2026, and I am providing the exact time so management can easily identify the cashier on duty. While I was clearly next in line, another customer cut in front of me. The cashier involved was the youngest of the three, wearing a black national dress. Despite clearly seeing that I was already waiting, he knowingly accepted the other customer’s order and ignored the queue.
This behavior is unacceptable. It shows poor judgment, lack of basic customer service etiquette, and disrespect for customers who are waiting properly. Allowing line-cutting and actively participating in it creates frustration and reflects very badly on Mama Noura’s reputation, especially for a brand that is always busy and well-known for its long queues.
What makes this more obvious is that my order was later taken by one of the older cashiers, a polite and professional gentleman who immediately acknowledged me and welcomed me properly. The contrast between the two cashiers was very clear one understood customer service, the other clearly did not.
Mama Noura’s food quality is strong, but incidents like this damage customer trust. Management should address this cashier’s behavior seriously, as basic queue discipline and fairness should never be optional in an establishment of this caliber.
