I'm not sure how this hotel gets so many 5 star reviews, in honesty.
It is a quirky hotel in a good location, with a tram stop right outside. However, it's also very easy to walk to the old town in about 30 minutes and there are nice restaurants in the locality of the hotel itself.
The rooms are basic and a little rough around the edges. We had an issue with cleanliness of the bedding which was resolved promptly, but also other minor issues (the shower) were present. Also, the decor of simply placing plastic masks over the lights felt a bit cheap.
Breakfast was also poor. Staff weren't very helpful and it was incredibly busy - so much so that we couldn't actually find a table in the restaurant area over the weekend and had to sit in the bar and/or lobby area. It regularly ran out of glasses for juice, bowls and cutlery, meaning we had to use what was available (paper cups, spoons, etc.). The hot breakfast seemed to go cold very quickly, and was not to my preference (quite salty and fatty).
Staff on reception were always very helpful. The ticket machines for tram tickets was a bonus.
Overall the location is the best thing about the place, but I would not stay again.
