Mama Shelter Praha

Mama Shelter was a wonderful place to stay! The lobby area has a lot of personality in terms of decoration and plenty of activities such as pool, ping pong, and many arcade games. The bar + restaurant area has comfortable seating and, again, great decor! The breakfast was tasty with many options. The rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were nice and clean! Michael was an amazing staff member. Not only was he friendly and welcoming, but he gave amazing suggestions on what to do during our time in Prague. He was very personable and remembered us throughout our stay.

I loved my stay here! From the moment of check-in, the staff were really attentive and we were surprised with amenities in both rooms! Ambience, food and room decor were great, and more if you are travelling with your partner! ||I want to give a special shout out to Pável who went above and beyond to help us during his night shift! No hesitation and 10/10 service. ||Would definitely recommend and come back!

We had a great stay at Mama Shelter. The "penthouse" room is amazing. It's fun, it's quirky and a delight.The lobby is as cool as it gets. A pool table and also a fun quirky area to hang out. Wonderful decor everywhere!

We had a pleasant stay at Mama Shelter. The receptionists were generally very welcoming. Despite a small incident with one of the receptionists, she later apologized and the hotel quickly provided a solution, which we appreciated. The room was very comfortable and the quirky decor was really beautiful, true to the spirit of the hotel. As for the breakfast, we really enjoyed the sweet options, but the savory selection was less convincing for us. Overall, it was a good stay!

Amazing stay at Mama Prague! The decoration is absolutely incredible, the rooms are spacious, and the breakfast is excellent with plenty of choice. A big thank you to the whole Mama Gang for their kindness and warm welcome they really made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Special mention to Michael for his outstanding professionalism, genuine kindness, and dedication. He took the time to give us great recommendations about places to visit and things to do around the city. He was always available, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our stay smooth and enjoyable. His positive attitude and attention to detail truly made a difference. Highly recommended we will definitely come back!

I was searching for a location easily accessible by car, with decent parking and walking distance of the city centre, for a one night stay. I noticed this hotel because the name stood out, then I looked at the reviews, photos and price and thought "Why not?" It is an offbeat, funky place; the staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient; the breakfast was great. And of course, most people are comforted to hear that Mama loves you ❤️

After a great stay at Mama Shelter Rome, I had high expectations for the Prague location, and they did not disappoint. Knowing they share the same DNA as The Hoxton, I expected style and quality, but the hospitality here really stole the show. The Highlights: • The Team: Every single person we encountered—from the welcoming reception desk to the upbeat bar and breakfast staff—was incredibly warm and genuine. • Housekeeping: A special shout-out to the housekeeping team. They deserve serious acknowledgment for keeping our room spotless throughout our entire stay. It made coming back to the room every evening such a pleasure. • The Vibe: The facilities are excellent, modern, and have that signature quirky charm. • The "Mom" Test: Traveling with family can be tricky, but my mom absolutely loved it here. The atmosphere is fun but comfortable enough for everyone to feel at home. Whether you're a loyal Mama fan or a first-timer, I can’t recommend this spot enough. We will definitely be back!

I often stay here for work. It's a modern and attractive hotel. All the staff are friendly and take good care of their guests. The receptionist Michael has always been available for a chat and to give me advice on getting around the city. He always recommends nice places to visit. The breakfast is very varied and really good.
