7 European Countries That Don't Use the Euro

"Located in the heart of Europe, Poland draws history buffs, with plenty of medieval castles. There are also museums steeped in Second World War history, such as the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum, the Warsaw Uprising Museum, and the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews."

Mamaison Hotel Le Regina Warsaw (Warsaw, Poland) 3 Hotel Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Not to be confused with the British Malmaison chain — MaMaison, no L, is an Eastern European phenomenon, specializing in converting historical buildings to high-end boutique hotels. The markets they’re in are under-served in that particular category, to put it mildly; there’s nothing else in Warsaw, for example, to match the sleek modernity and first-class luxury of the MaMaison Hotel Le Regina." - Tablet Hotels

Stayed here with family for 4 nights in 2 bedroom suite. Excellent location as walkable to main sites. Quiet. Clean. Comfortable beds. Breakfast was outstanding - healthy with lots of choices. Beautiful hotel and great service. Regrettably did not use pool or spa services. Strongly recommend!

Overall, a very good choice. Rooms were mostly comfortable although there were some odd choices in furniture. The television doubled as a mirror and was so high up on the wall that it was hard to watch except from the bed. Breakfast was good. Service was efficient. Great location.

⸻||I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything was perfect. The best part of the experience was the staff – they were absolutely amazing! kind, attentive, and great mannered. The rooms are beautifully designed in an elegant, classic style, which added a special charm to the stay. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options, and the spa was also excellent very relaxing and nice after long day of exploring Warsaw. Highly recommended!

It’s a beautiful hotel right on the edge of old town. The hotel is nice from outside in. We arrived 2:45p, check in “isn’t until 3pm” and sure enough, room wasn’t ready but “should be ready in 15min”…. And it was. At 3:01 young girl at desk announced, “your room is ready.” There were actually housekeeping staff on our floor when we got to room so it’s possibly true, coincidentally. Anyway, the room is nice, nicely laid out. Great location, just off the corner from street walked to old town. The street is loaded with cute stores and restaurants. The center of old town is about a 7 min walk, depending on your pace. |Our room had breakfast included, which is buffet of course. They have a nice selection of breakfast foods, and some things that might be unfamiliar for breakfast, depending on your morning meal routine. They do a good job keeping the area supplied with fresh hot, or cold, food items. The area with tables is small, and they have overflow set up in lobby (where buffet is set up) with tables available with the sofas. They also have a quaint courtyard area outside with tables, where we always chose to go each morning. I would stay here again. |Staff is friendly, greeted us as we passed. I’d be happy to stay here again

Beautiful and cosy. I like the boutique style of the hotel. It is located in the heart of the downtown, within walking distance to almost everything. The hotel is very well kept, the overall atmosphere is just beautiful. I loved the swimming pool, it felt like a little resort in the middle of the city.

All the last positive reviews that I read are true. We stayed for seven nights and we really enjoyed our stay. We drove up from the Netherlands, there is parking right in front of the hotel or in a closed of area nearby. The hotel is indeed nice, spacious luxurious rooms, bath room lobby and restaurant. We had the luck that the weather was really good, 27 degrees tops, those days the air-condition was not able keeping the room comfortable. Rooms have all double glassed windows and double window frames. AC was serviced so we were told but it did not improve (feedback would have been good) Opening the windows solved the issue as temperature drops at night. Though a bit of help in that exercise would have been good. Many hotels nowadays, windows do not open anymore and also in this room it looked like they were locked. Bath room has a bath tub, mind your step, as this is quiet an exercise, handles are there for your safety. The breakfast is fantastic, sorry we did not try other meals as we did our 10-15km daily walks in and around Warsaw, what a beautiful city. Try a cycling tour just around the corner, even knowing 3hrs, more listening than cycling, really interesting. Sorry for you all, you have to wait a full year, before it is Easter again. We were pleasantly woken up by a choir singing songs in the church that is nearby, so nice. Madam Cury is nearby the hotel, walk towards your left, she is overlooking the Vistula River.

Really nice hotel in the heart of the old town. |We stayed as a four (two couples) our first time in Poland. |Our room was pretty compact but that was our choice - we chose the cheapest. It was spotlessly clean. The only issue we had with the room was the hot water - but interestingly I can’t see anyone else mentioning it…. We had to run it for so long and I hate wasting water. ||The breakfast was great. Really good choice. |We didn’t eat in the hotel otherwise; there was absolutely no atmosphere in the evening which was fine with us as we were out a lot but if you are expecting any sort of buzz - there isn’t any. We did try for a drink one evening - we did get it - but it was quite an ask as no designated staff. ||We did use the pool which is very cute. |Overall a lovely, calm stay.

Yelp
We had a snafu at check-in but the next day the hotel apologized and rectified it. Hotel rooms and amenities were all really nice. fantastic location in the heart of Warsaw.

Yelp
Besides being a very lovely hotel, the people were generous and compassionate. The folks at the front desk made sure that everything you needed you received. The location of this hotel is perfect for Warsaw. I would definitely return and stay longer.

Yelp
I'm not someone who gives out 5 stars easily, but my stay at Le Regina in Warsaw exceeded my expectations...and this is my one criteria to give out 5 stars! The most important thing is that the hotel ticked all the frequent-traveller boxes that typically other hotels leave un-ticked...some of them might be minor, but if you stay at hotels often, they become important: - the wifi is included and easy to access (no code or special log in required) - the wifi is stable and I can even manage Skype conversations - there are plenty of sockets right by the bed, so that I can charge my phone and my laptop at the same time - the safe is big enough to fit a laptop and it even has a socket inside so that you can charge your device while you're gone - the bathroom is big and well-stocked - the pillows are fluffy - they even have turn-down service - and last but not least: everyone is very friendly and I received a smile wherever I went! All in all - someone put their thinking-cap on when designing a hotel. And I much appreciate that! Aside from the these "technical" things, the hotel is also very pleasing from an aesthetic point of view. The colour-palette they chose, made me feel right at home! Thumbs up!

Yelp
What a beautiful hotel. We were greeted by Lucas at the front desk. He was very professional courteous helpful and a real pleasure to deal with. We were. It pleased with the Marriott and he quickly found us a room for the time we needed to spend here. All the staff here is very professional and kind. The breakfast is fabulous and the rooms lovely. I would recommend staying here for your visit in Warsaw. I would definitely come back here again Also to add this hotel is very modern and relaxing as though it's relaxing in your own home !

Yelp
I rarely give a perfect score, but this hotel delivers just about everything you could want. I'm sure there are many better hotels in the world, but there is no need to search for them when one this good is available. It's easier to list what is lacking than what is supplied. They could have brought a morning paper to our door and they could have supplied American-style electric plugs and 110v current.

Yelp
Mamaison Le Regina Hotel - Excellent Location - Old Town Warsaw is a must with Great Restaurants near-by! Excellent Staff - Front Desk Night Manager Martin was a GodSend - his assistance in arranging our flight back to Seattle was pivotal - we are extremely grateful to him! Extremely Clean - the maid service was wonderfully accommodating! This is a World Class Hotel complete with a Michelin rated restaurant! Extremely Satisfied with our stay! This was our Warsaw "Home Sweet Home"!

Yelp
This hotel is fabulous. Great beds and pillows. Excellent water pressure. Nice shampoo products. Super friendly and helpful staff. A delicious and diverse spread of breakfast items. You can exchange currency at the front desk and they don't quibble over the pennies or fraction of zloty. Fantastic location on the edge of Old Town...lots of good restaurants but not a lot of noise. My biggest tip, especially for a stay during Spring, Summer or Fall...ask for an inside room on the first floor so you get a patio. They provide good quality patio furniture including pads for the seats that are stored in the closet.

Yelp
An amazing traditional but nicely updated hotel in a great part of town. (Nowe Miasto - just past Stare Miasto). Great amenities, including a small spa. It's an excellent value for the money and they don't charge you for internet like the American chains overseas do. It's by far my favorite hotel in Warsaw. Safe area, easy to get anywhere and lovely inside.
