Mamallena Hotel

This is the top hostel on Bocas. Located just a walking distance from the main nightlife street and the harbour it offers more chilled atmosphere than Selina and also better prices. It is the top place for sunset watching. You can jump in the sea right from the sun deck. The bar and the common area are awesome. Many people from outside the hostel would come for a drink here. The rooms are clean and cosy. The staff was not very friendly but it will hardly bother you with all the beauty around.

My favorite hostel on the island!! I stayed multiple times in multiple rooms and have absolutely NO COMPLAINTS! The beds, bathrooms, & kitchen are all clean! I cannot speak highly enough of the staff they are amazing, accommodating, and friendly! I don’t want to sound dumb but the viiibes here are so relaxing chill and fun. This place gives you the energy you’re looking for, there’s always people to meet and hangout with, the music is like you know tropical house and the drinks are tropical cocktails and there’s so many places you can relax here 🌴🤟 would stay here again no doubt!!

Great hostel! The staff is very friendly and helpfull. The bar and trace are great to hang out during term evening. Cooking possibilities are a little limited, there is only one cutting board and the stove is not easily accessible when more people are cooking.

I didn't sleep at the hostel, but the place is really great. Everybody can just come and sit on the terrace and enjoy for free. It's not necessary to buy a drink, but if you wish they also have a good choice. Happy Hour for cocktails every day from 4-8 pm, try the Malibu sunrise :-) they even have a porch at the sea, so you can jump into the water right there, enjoy a swim and then sunbathe. Or relax on the big sofas or play a game of pool. Totally recommended!

The best place to stay in Bocas. Especially for the good. The bar and outside area was recently renovated. You can dive off an 8ft platform, use a swing over the water, play pool or computer games for free. The food we ate was exceptional, especially the pizza. Loads of places to sunbathe or chill and relax. Friendly staff. Breakfast is included and the rooms have a.c. under your control. Perfectly situated for getting around Bocas town. A must stay place.

Nice clean and quiet hostel. Has a pool table Downside is that because of the onsite bar, they don't want you drinking your​ own beverages in the common area while the bar is open. Pretty quiet in the evenings because guests go elsewhere to hang out or party.

Nice rooms and bathrooms. There was mice in our room though so store food in the kitchen. The dock was under construction (March 2019) which was a bummer. There’s an outdoor bar and kitchen. The front desk offers laundry for $8 a bag and can book tours for you. The water at the hostel would turn off sometimes, not sure if this was island wide of this hostel.

This is a very nice hostel! The beds are really comfortable with good quality matrasses. The common area is really nice, a very good place to chill. Would definitely recommend. There are however cheaper places. The only negative comment I can think of is that the guy running the place isn't very friendly.
