Very disappointing. I ate twice here to check it out. Both times it was way under what I expected. Nothing really cooked by themselves and if so the Cook should be on a plane to Germany right away to learn how it should taste even when it’s convenience food. You can tune it! I had the big sausage plate, mamas sizzsling wurst pan, the sausages where not even close to what was in the Description of the menu. Not good. Next try: the Rouladen and the swiss sausage salad. The Rouladen missing herbs and correct marinade, sauce was flat and out of the box, No red wine or fresh made at all. spätzle typically Aldi product. I clearly don’t like it. The swiss salad with cheese was tasteless and no marinade at all. Okay you may not find the right meat, but you can marinate it correctly with oil and vinegar etc.pp. Over all. Not worth it. Products are not what i would expect in a restaurant or beergarden in germany. At a gas station you may get what you get here. Not recommended. To expensive for what you get. And they can’t hold what they claim: German authentic food. Edit: i m sorry but i have to do an edit: the ruladen leave a very bad taste in my mouth, it is awful.

If you're in the mood for some delicious German food, Mama's is the place to be! The menu is packed with authentic dishes that are bursting with flavor and made with love. What truly stands out is the friendly and courteous staff who make you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. The service is excellent, ensuring that every meal is a delightful experience. Plus, the prices are reasonable for the quality you receive, making it a fantastic value! Whether you're a fan of hearty sausages or delectable schnitzels, Mama's has something to satisfy every craving. I can't recommend this gem enough—it's a must-visit for anyone who appreciates great food and a warm atmosphere!

Saturday night: not crowded Easier to travel there on a motorcycle. Took awhile grab there and had to walk in Took awhile for food to be served. The food is very salty. Even the broccoli is salty. German pork knuckle is good. Crackling and tender on the inside. The sauerkraut however, is extremely salty. The mashed potato is buttery however, the taste doesn't harmonise with each other. The sauce for the grilled fish was like melted butter and nothing else. Just plain oil. The portion was huge and we over ordered (4 mains) for 2 adults 1 kid. Would be nice if the server could give us a sound suggestion while ordering.

German style pud/ restaurant The staff are all absolutely friendly and fantastic at their jobs The uniforms are adorable and the quality of the food is amazing! The chef definitely knows what he's doing as i couldn't flaw the dish much. Ordered the platter to try a few different types of meats on offer and I definitely would recommend. Atmosphere was social and relaxed

I am writing this review out of deep disappointment. This is not the first time I have been let down by Mama’s, but this experience has convinced me to share my honest feedback. I have been a regular visitor during Christmas and New Year because the restaurant stays open late, and it has been a place where my family and I spend our nights here together. Unfortunately, my recent visit was far from pleasant: 1. Service: As a local tourist, I felt that I was treated unfairly. I understand that many of your customers are foreign visitors, but there should never be a difference in the quality of service between locals and foreigners. When my mother and I were looking for a seat, no one assisted us or guided us to an available table. Meanwhile, foreign guests were escorted to their tables, and their chairs were even pulled out for them. Additionally, when we wanted to place an order, no staff member approached us. We had to call the waiter ourselves just to receive the menu. 2. Cleanliness: Mama’s has been around for many years, but I believe your standards of cleanliness have declined. The tablecloths were not changed, the tables were not cleaned, and the paper covers used to protect the tables were not replaced, they even seemed glued down and deliberately left unchanged. 3. Food: I have always enjoyed the sausage dishes here, but this time the experience was disappointing. The sauce was served in a very small portion, the sausage was tough, and the French fries were not crispy. The presentation was also poor. I also ordered fried rice and specifically requested that it not be too oily, but it still arrived that way. The chicken portion was very small, and the fried egg was burnt. (I apologize for not having a photo, I was already in the middle of complaining. In the end, we canceled the fried rice because we were too disappointed to eat it.) Additional Notes: After we complained, the staff suddenly became polite, seemingly worried about receiving a negative review. However, the damage was already done. The service and even the food quality were unprofessional and far below expectations. It almost felt as though local customers are not valued or are assumed to have less spending power. This will be the last time we dine at Mama’s. I sincerely hope you take my feedback seriously and make improvements, so that no other local customers will have to experience the same disappointment.

Mamas German Restaurant in Kuta is one of those classic Bali spots that’s been around forever — and for good reason. The place has an old-school charm that feels nostalgic, even though it’s a bit outdated in décor and setup. You can tell it’s been part of Kuta’s food scene for years, with its hearty portions, friendly staff, and relaxed, no-fuss vibe. The menu offers all the German comfort food you could want — juicy sausages, schnitzels, and some seriously good pork knuckles. The portions are generous, and everything comes out hot and flavorful. They also have a great selection of beers that perfectly match the dishes. Service is friendly and fast, and you can tell the team genuinely cares about keeping the experience enjoyable. It’s a great place to chill with friends or grab a hearty meal after walking around Kuta. The only downsides are that parking can be a bit tricky in the area, especially during busy hours, and the interior could use a bit of a refresh. But overall, if you’re after good food, cold beer, and a laid-back atmosphere, Mamas German Restaurant still hits the spot. A true Kuta classic that’s worth a visit.

Did not expect to see this in Bali but to be honest was a little bit sceptical. The atmosphere was great, the service was exceptional, the food was definitely 10/10.. it really drew out the family heritage roots with the dishes and the flavours. I thanked the staff and thanked the chefs for making it an unforgettable dining experience and an unforgettable array of flavours and reminiscent of a childhood for me. My wife loved the cheesy spatzle and the pork schnitzel was 100% bursting with flavour, I replaced the chips with spatzle and just wow ! When we come back w will definitely be back here. Thank you so much !

Taste of the food was very good but proportion size of the sausage did not match the menu. Not even close. These look like half the size as advertised. The angle of this photo makes them seem a lot bigger than they actually were. Disappointed, unlikely to return.
