Mama's Restaurant & Wine Bar

We had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Mama’s! The service was excellent—our wait staff, Andreas and Alex, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. They were attentive, friendly, and made us feel so welcome. I ordered the Greek moussaka, which was rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. My husband had the meatballs with mashed potatoes, and he couldn’t stop raving about how delicious and comforting the dish was. From the warm hospitality to the outstanding food, everything exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend Mama’s to anyone visiting the area!

This is one of the most beautiful restaurants I've been too. Service is excellent. Very kind and humorous. The drinks were phenomenal. I was a little disappointed in the main entrees. The steak I ordered was a little bland. The shrimp tempora made up for it, though. Sat in the rooftop balcony and watched the sunset over the mountains. Gorgeous views. Would definitely recommend trying this restaurant!

Mama's was such a delightful stop for lunch. The staff at the front are very helpful and do not pressure you to enter. We were able to get a table on their beautiful rooftop garden - stunning set up and view. Aesthetics and vibes of relaxation. Food was lovely and you definitely get your moneys worth. The service was also fantastic. We had a charming server named Andreas who was very attentive and kind - even let me practice my Greek! I would definitely recommend visiting Mama's if you're in Fira! 😊

This place is all about the aesthetics! The food was mediocre at best and there was nothing special about the service. The octopus was delicious. The salmon was bland. The lamb shank didn't even compare to the one had at black sand beach in Santorini. A one and done restaurant.

Mama’s restaurant is top tier. The ambience alone is very attention grabbing and will lure you in, visited on a vacation and my 1st time in Greece. The food was so good, and so were the drinks. Giannis was our server and he was so nice and friendly, the vibes here are just hard to put in words you have to go see it for yourself. The lamb chops and mashed potatoes and the ribeye steak were some of the best I’ve had anywhere 😋😋😋 can’t wait to come back to Santorini I will be returning to Mama’s for sure

The waiters Alan and Afrodite were spectacular from beginning to end. The reception was very pleasant and attentive at all times, including when choosing the table, which was perfect for me. The beetroot salad was very good — truly delicious — and one of the dishes I ordered. We ordered a seafood platter that came with exactly four types of seafood: the breaded shrimp was good, and so were the calamari. However, the octopus was tough, flavorless, and very hard to chew (terrible). The mussels were tasteless, served cold and rubbery. The dish was extremely expensive for what was delivered and did not match the menu description. The side dishes were just okay — until we got to the grilled corn, or better said, burnt corn with a charcoal taste. My personal rating is a 6, based on what we ordered. The drinks were magnificent.

The restaurant has a beautiful decor and excellent service. It’s located in the center, making it a good option for a late dinner, but not ideal for watching the sunset. We ordered the Santorini salad, cheese rolls with honey, chicken souvlista, and linguine pasta with shrimp and quinces. The chicken tasted different from other places, with what seemed like tandoori spices. As for the pasta, it was absolutely delicious. I also had their best selling drink (forget what they called it) it was very refreshing.

We had reserved this restaurant for the last night of our holiday and were looking forward to it. The staff attentively met and guided us to our seat on the terrace, we ordered wine, shared starter and mains. The feta rolls were delicious to share as a starter. My husband enjoyed his tomahawk chop, but unfortunately my main dish was served cold (as was his side dish of chips) and by the time waiting staff came around to the table to check if food ok my husband had finished his so I did not have a main dish. . €115 feels expensive given I didn’t get to eat a main meal which staff were aware off (and charged full price) . Very disappointing to be charged for cold food that I had one spoonful off.
