Mamatoto Village

My partner and I attended 3 Mamatoto in-person classes and loved them! We took the Childbirth Preparation Class, Happiest Baby Class, and the Breastfeeding Basics Class. The instructors were great and it was lovely to meet and befriend the other classmates. The classes definitely helped us be prepared for the arrival of our first baby!

I’m so grateful to have been supported by this program. They were such a blessing to my family and I. I delivered my baby and the whole process was amazing. I highly recommend Mamatoto Village.

Oh my gosh, where do I start. I first met Jamey where I delivered my son and I knew there was something special about her. Thankfully I was able to reach mama Toto and book her for at home Lc. Jamey has had many children, she was so knowledgeable and positive about me producing milk for my son. She encouraged me to find a way that worked best for us, especially since I was having difficulty producing milk and my son is very hungry and he lets you know it. I went from pumping 1oz to so far 12+oz in less than 3-4 sessions. I’m working on breastfeeding now and taking supplementation to fatten up my milk. He has really taken to it and and that has even further increased my supply. I’m so excited to transition him to 100% breast milk! I only wish I had mama Toto with my daughter back in 2021. Thanks for everything!

I just wanted to express my gratitude and appreciation. I’m more than thankful for the support and services that I receive during my pregnancy and postpartum support. My team I had was wonderful and very supportive of my needs. Hope to continue my relationship with Mamatoto.

I participated a wellness event to support the health and well-being of the women and children served by this awesome organization. The level of care, professionalism, quality and cleanliness of the facility, and full spectrum love and support rendered to their constituents is stellar and very heartwarming. I came with no expectation and left with joyful appreciation for everyone I met. Those serving and being served. I am recommending everyone I meet in need of their particular service to contact them immediately.

I truly have enjoyed this program Jamey was the best consultant ever she’s always been available when I need her. While struggling with postpartum depression she gave me the words of encouragement that I needed to push through and I will be forever grateful .All the assistance and support has been above and beyond.

My experience with mamatoto village was almost perfect. I felt compelled to leave this review three years later because I would really hate for another wombman to have the same experience I did. My doula, Dionne suggested that breastfeeding was the best option for my baby and that if I had worries about my milk supply, she could use my placenta after giving birth to create tablets for me that would help me supply a lot of breast milk. Once I gave birth, I signed The papers at the hospital giving her permission to take my placenta. She came over a few times after my son was born, but kept saying she hadn’t gotten around to making the tablets. Also, I was aware that she was assigned to a bunch of moms giving birth around the same time as me so I knew she was busy. After being ran around for A YEAR, I contacted Mamatoto village to follow up because she was no longer responding to my messages. I’m guessing someone said something to her because she randomly hit me up saying “I’m sorry I threw your placenta away, I assumed You didn’t want it anymore” HUH??? My placenta??? That is not something you just toss in the trash, I felt completely lied to and taken advantage of. I know How valuable the placenta is, and I’m sure doulas know as well. For some reason I dont Believe my placenta was just thrown away, but whatever was done with it I feel Like it was stolen from me. I signed It over completely trusting that it would be returned back to me for the nourishment of my son. And no one cares to reach out to rectify anything until I cane Forward a year later. After telling me she threw my placenta away, she told me she would make it up to me by doing a free photoshoot for my son and bringing him “some goodies”. That was in 2020, ask me if I ever Got anything? Not so much as a phone call or text. Everything else about mamatoto was great! Definitely utilize them for their doula services, lactation specialty, and nutrition. BUT DO NOT SIGN OVER YOUR PLACENTA TO THEM OR TRUST THEM FOR ANY OTHER SERVICES THAT ARE NOT PUBLICLY LISTED!!!!!!

Dula was great for me. Case management service was awful she didn’t reach out to me unless it was a deadline that she had to meet her supervisor always made up reason on why she doesn’t do her job. They just exit you out and do not follow up with you everyone personal life dictates how they operate at work especially in case management services I would not recommend this service to any but i would recommend 2 duals personally.
