Mambo Tango

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mambo Tango Hotel, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, with elegant decor and a welcoming atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. One of the highlights of my stay was the outstanding service provided by the staff. In particular, I would like to commend Brenda at the reception. She was incredibly friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure that all my needs were met. Her warm smile and helpful attitude truly made a difference in my stay.

Travel a lot and this place is amazing! Wonderfull staff (Ambraham, Jhon and Simon are the best hosts! super helpful and friendly) , the only women room was so cosy and clean. I felt really safe as a solotraveller. Also a small breakfast and the lockers are included!! 5' walk from the metro and maybe 25' walk from te center center. Recommended!

Great location, next to lots of restaurants, easy access to the metro, and a beautiful walk down the hill from mont juic. Friendly staff, nice hang out areas. My only complaint was about the bathrooms. Some of the showers just wouldn't get hot water, doors would stick and you'd really have to wrestle them to get in and out. Other main complaint was only about some of the other travelers leaving bathrooms and areas a mess. Just share space well people! The complimentary breakfast is also minimal, but still appreciated. Would stay again.

Looooved this place. Great Location, Great Staff. My stay was originally for 1-2 nights and ended up staying for a little over a week. Staff was amazing, vibe of the place was great. It was cleaned daily. They make you feel like family. They have a kitchen area, 2 indoor sitting areas and 1 outside patio area. Breakfast included, Rooms had AC, area was great. They had water, coffee and tea 24 hours. The bathrooms had a hairdryer and showers had hot water. I would Highly recommend this hostel. It was great!! I will def come back.

HORRIBLE Experience - Avoid at All Costs! I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at this hostel, and it was by far the worst place I have ever stayed in. The photos online are completely misleading and do not reflect the reality of the place. Upon arrival, I was hit by a strong, unpleasant smell of mold that permeated the entire building. It was absolutely unbearable and made it difficult to breathe, let alone sleep. The overall hygiene of the place was appalling. It hasn’t been renovated in ages, making me question if it was even safe to stay there. I was expecting a budget stay, but what I got was far below any reasonable standard. I strongly advise anyone considering this place to stay far away. Save yourself the trouble and book elsewhere.

Tried to contact Them about mistake, i get the respond day before reservation. Unprofessional, make a bit sad as a client who wanted to make reservation again in this hotel but after that I chose another one.

Really nice and friendly hostel with great helpful and kind staff staff, AND a free breakfast! The beds are made from metal which makes it quite a loud room. Each move makes a big clashing noise and goodness forbid you bang your head on the metal shelf in the middle of the night 😂 Out of control by the hostel managers, but one of the guests in my room were very rude and urinated all over the shared bathroom before leaving in the early hours and shouting in the room. No matter how often you stay in hostels that is plain rude and disrespectful. Thankfully there were communal toilets on other floors which were very clean. The location was ideal and not too noisy outside and the beds despite being noisy metal frame were sooooo comfy !!

One of the best hostels I've been to. The location is excellent with a metro station just around the corner, a carrefour express across the street and a walking distance from many major attractions. The staff was friendly and there is a free nice breakfast everyday. I would go again for sure.
