Remarcable swahili Street Food. I had the chicken and French fries 🍟. What made the difference from the others were the sauces that came with the meal - Tamarind sauce, a sweet chili sauce, and a sauce made from milk and onion leaves. Every bite produced an explosion of flavors on my taste buds. This food joint is best experienced live. Ask for the canesuger juice. You will want to stay there the whole night. Well done Mamboz. 👌

Incredible food and fantastic menu! The later you go the faster it will be, but if you come while they are setting up you can sit and have chai while you wait. I would recommend the mshikaki wrap!

This is a very popular place with locals which you ought to try if you are staying in Dar es Salaam for a few days. The best selling dishes are chicken on the charcoal grill, dressed in three basic sauces. The only downside is the fact that you actually eat on the pavement (aka sidewalk in the US).

The most tasty sakela in town. Service is good. But owner should be open heart. He is charging separate 500tzs for parcel bag even your bill is 80000tzs🤦

Very good street restaurant in Dar es Salaam Lots of food available here. Rates are very reasonably priced. Service is also good and food quality is better than others. Also delivered hygiene food. If you go once you never forget that taste. I prefer nonveg food lovers just try once. Parking facilities are also available here. Near to kisutu bus stand.

Some of the best chicken I’ve had EVER 🏆! That is not an easy award to get cause this girl has had a lot of chicken in her days🤰🏾Our entire table ordered the Chicken Sekela (i think) Just ask for the red chicken. Oh and the chips masala 🔥🔥#lifechanging It is so juicy and marinated so perfectly and guess what.....they don’t open until sunset 🤦🏾‍♀️. Don’t dare come here at lunch thinking you are going to get this yumminess your feelings will be hurt. The good news is there are like 50 other restaurant like this in downtown Dar es Salaam. I think this is the Upanga region, confirm with Google. They all open at dusk and make this Tanzania signature red chicken. Most tourist sleep on this treat because its not written in tour books but its written in my belly and all the other locals. Nom Nom Nom
