This is a tiny little restaurant. There are no more than 26 seats, I think, and its popular, so reservations are REQUIRED. (There'sa sign on the door that ssys so) We didn't know that. So one of our group walked in, and asked if we could be accomodated, which we were...but every other table was taken except for a table for 2.
The menu changes weekly, and I really wanted soup, which they didn't have. So this very nice waiter, Gianni, suggested I get the Tortellini with vegetable broth...he said it was better than soup. Broth sounds like soup to me, so I was happy...until he came back to tell me they were out of Tortellini. Bummer...I ordered a pizza
Before our food came, Gianni brought us bruschetta. It was AMAZING! I mean... amazing! Then he brought focaccia, it was warm and good (but not better than that amazing bruschetta).
Then an order of gnocchi for one friend, spaghetti and meatballs for another, and 2 pizzas. The woman who got the gnocchi loved it. The woman who got the spaghetti said it was a little under-seasoned (but she puts hot sauce on everything), and my pizza was also a little bland...but I'd already had 2 pieces of bruschetta and one of focaccia...so i really wasn't hungry.
We'll go back again...I'll order bruschetta and another appetizer and leave happy. Im happy now, but 6 pieces of pizza came home with me!
