One of the best places to eat italian food. Me and my wife enjoyed our dishes which were pizza for me : the smell of thuna was incredible. Carbonara for my wife also was so delicious that made my wife happy. a little bit noisy since directly open to the street. very helpfull waitress always smiling. smooth and fast service. i highly recommand.

A Slice of Ubud's Heartbeat: Dining at Mamma Mia Tucked right in the heart of Ubud, Mamma Mia offers more than just a meal; it's a front-row seat to the vibrant energy that defines this cultural hub. We settled in for a classic Italian dinner, drawn by the promise of authentic flavours and the bustling atmosphere. Our order was a test of fundamentals: a Pizza Marinara and a portion of Lasagna, accompanied by a couple of refreshing local drinks. The lasagna was the star of the evening—a generous, comforting portion with rich, layered sauces and pasta cooked to a perfect tenderness. It was the kind of hearty, satisfying dish you crave. The Pizza Marinara was a solid choice, featuring a classic thin crust from their wood-fired oven with a bright, tangy tomato base . The true magic of Mamma Mia, however, lies in its location. Sitting by the open front, you are completely immersed in the rhythm of Ubud. The constant stream of scooters and traffic isn't a distraction; it's the main event. It’s a vibrant, living tableau of daily life, making it an ideal spot for any tourist who wants to soak in the local vibe while enjoying their food. The energy is contagious and provides endless entertainment . Verdict: For a reliably good Italian meal served with a side of authentic Ubud buzz, Mamma Mia is a fantastic choice. It’s the perfect place to refuel after a day of exploring while feeling the pulse of the town. Highly recommended for the experience as much as for the food.

Food was great, never tasted such authentic italian food before. The pasta and pizza were simple but tasty. Service was great and staff were friendly. The atmosphere was good as you can experience the Ubud vibes right outside the restaurant, very cosy inside.

Really enjoyed the food here. The lasagna was rich and comforting, the bruschetta was fresh, and the drinks were refreshing. Nice atmosphere and a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. Would definitely come back.

Craving for pizza after a few days of Indonesian food. Saw this place that serves wood fire pizza which I prefer. Ordered a sausage pizza and a carbonara to share with my husband. Pasta was cooked to al dented and what I liked about is little on the drier side as compared to some with much sauce. Pizza came in 8 slices so for a couple to share, each 4 slices. What took me by surprise is I was expecting it to be salty but turned out, it wasnt. Just right! As for the crust it wasnt entirely thin as there was a bite to it.

We ordered Bruschetta Pomodoro, Pizza Quattro Formaggi with shrimp, Spaghetti Alla Toni for lunch today. The flavors are authentic and portions are big enough for two persons to share. It is a good family run cosy restaurant in Ubud. Loved the small set up and the warmth it exudes. As a rule I finished with Cappuccino which was served a bit cold when I ordered hot one. Enjoyed every bit of our dining experience here. One of the must try in Ubud.

We came to Bali for a holiday, and we were looking for comfort Italian food, good wood oven baked pizza, nice pasta, and pleasant environment after a full day. We were very pleased to find Mama Mia, a restaurant in Ubud where service was quite nice, food delicious and within our price expectations.

Love the Spaghetti Pesto! Pizza Rustica is also delicious! We love the Mango juice too and have to order a second glass. Thank you!
