This was basically the only place open on Christmas Eve, and so wasn’t surprised at the expensive price tag, but had heard great things about this place and so was happy to pay.
Couldn’t have been more wrong.
Even by Rapa Nui standards, service was painfully, inexplicably, and unnecessarily slow. Standards of cleanliness were akin to a surf shack and not a venue charging premium prices.
Quality of the cooking was severely under par, and in no way justified the prolonged waiting between courses.
Worst was the incessant flea attack on my feet and lower legs.
The whole place needs a rethink to decide what it wants to be… too expensive and pretentious for a surf shack and not elevated or competant enough for a fine dining restaurant
