Mamma Rosa Osteria

Overall a 4/5 food. The food was good with adequate portion size but it wasn’t perfect, hence 4/5. We had the seafood soup as our starter, it had a deep rich seafood flavour. The risotto and ossobucco were good, but I felt the flavours were not developed well enough, it lacked the complexity that we so often find in ossobucco. We also had the lobster pasta, it was a bit bland and just needed an extra touch of salt for it to be perfect! We ordered fried veal Milanese and it was not bad. The service was decent with a decent atmosphere. The atmosphere was a bit loud but you could still talk. Would recommend booking in advanced as they get quite packed!

A fine restaurant in a central location. Dishes served are generous and nice portions. Waiters will try and offer you their dish of the day or their specials, but will also let you order by the menu. Priced on the expensive side

Food was delicious, the portions were really generous just like the other reviews said they were. The staff was really great and carrying. We had the “degustation” with the risotto, so good! Loved it we had a great time and a few extras on the house(prosseco, small bruschetta, biscotti and limoncello)

A bit of fancy atmosphere, a very good service, good food, not so special, but good. I tried L’ossobuco di vitello in cremolata e il vero and Le costelette di agnello… (grilled lamb chops). I liked more L’ossobuco, but tastes are subjective.

10/10 restaurant, the service is great, the environment is nice and the food is very good and with very big portions too. They give you and entree and wine while you prepare to order. I recommend it 1000% and I will be back in the future for sure. It’s a little on the expensive side but the quality e quantity more than make up for it

Had our last meal at Mamma Rosa in Milan. The service was excellent, with complimentary sparkling wine. We had a Carbonara & Prawn Mushroom tagliolini pasta 🍝 The pasta were great, I personally liked the tagliolini.

It was a nice experience here for dinner. Food was fantastic with good vibe. Worth mentioning that Alam is so nice that taking care every of us with good service.

This Italian restaurant came highly recommended by a friend, and I can see why. Charming and beautiful place, perfect for a date/romantic evening. The moment we were seated, they gave us a complimentary glass of Prosecco and a mini appetiser each. Service from entry to exit was impeccable- the staff really makes an effort on all the small details. Food presentation looked amazing and tasted great, staff were helpful and warm. Contrary to some of the previous reviews, we didn’t feel rushed at all, and were not pressured to leave a tip (although we did because we had a great time). A meal for two - we might have ordered excessively for deserts, added up to about 120+ euros. For the quality and experience, worth it. The steak was cooked to perfection and the spaghetti - I don’t think I’ll be able to get this quality back in singapore 🥺 Thank you for having us, will be back again when we’re in Milan!
