WOW! I am completely and incredibly happy to have chosen this place for our last day visiting Kentucky. What an absolutely satisfactual experience. The environment was so warm and welcoming and had that true southern charm. The service by Raeann was truly wonderful. The food, I am speechless at how phenomenal the taste was. And the pie, was out of this world!! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone searching for a good down home cooked meal. I will definitely be coming back again to try more. The short wait was well worth it!!!

This bar/restaurant is AWESOME!!! We have been staying in town for a week and love to come here for some local entertainment and conversation with the staff. Amanda has been our "Go To" server and she talks up a great time. Lots of local information and recommendations. It might help that we have been coming to Bardstown for the past 3 years and enjoy all the distilleries. Give it a Try! Amazing home comfort food and PIES!!! The BEST fried green tomatoes you will ever have. Everything is made in house.

This wasn't our first time here but my first time having breakfast here. My wife's eggs benedict were good but my chicken fried steak was not. The gravy on the steak was sweet. It was so sugary that I had to scrape it off just to eat the steak. Not a fan of sugary sausage gravy.

We arrived just before breakfast service was ending. We were seated promptly with no wait. The restaurant was not too busy on this Wednesday morning. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We were in no rush which was good as we waited 45 minutes for our food to arrive after our order was taken. We had the Western Omelette and the Eggs Benedict. The meal was pretty good.

The design inside was very cute, and the menus as newspapers were a great touch. After ordering our food, it was made quickly and it was delicious! I got a candy apple to go - I haven't eaten it yet but it looks good. We were able to sit in the bar area during a game on a Saturday and it was great place to eat, grab a drink and watch football. We will definitely be back because there are plenty of other items on the menu we would like to try.

I have to say, this hot brown has something special about it. I don’t know what the secret is, but it’s fantastic! I could eat a hundred of them and still have room for more. We really enjoyed our time at Mammy’s, where we savored some great pours while watching a few college sports games. Overall, it was a wonderful experience with a great atmosphere and a lovely historic feel. I’m excited to come back and enjoy more in the future!

Enjoyed a good meal here on a Sunday evening. My y wife and I were in Bardstown for a wedding show and wanted some good home cooking for our dinner meal. We made our way to Mammy's from the event, got seated and began looking over the menu. There was quite an offering of fare. I chose to have the open faced roast beef sandwich (the Sunday special) with mashed potatoes and cole slaw both were homemade and I added a cup of pinto beans (which was a $6 up charge 🤯🤯🤯). My wife has the bourbon chicken dinner with Mac and cheese and green beans (this meal was $20). We contemplated dessert after our meal but each single serving dessert was $8. Overall I would give our experience a B rating. Would I drive to Bardstown just to return and eat there.....no but if I were there for business I would go back to Mammy's . The food was hot, service was good but I found the portions, value, and price did not align.

This is a really good place to eat. Atmosphere is really cool and the food is good. Mammy's Kitchen has a bar in front and a restaurant with gift shop in the rear. Sonya had a hot brown and I had fried pork chops. I no longer eat pie but the pies look amazing.
