Mamora Bay

Much more than expected🥰 Check in was easy and staff were very friendly. Complimentary tea was served as advertised. Rooms are clean, quiet, and sufficient. Stairs may not be as favorable for others but I truly enjoyed the daily cardio workout. It is conveniently located to cafes, restaurants, marketplace/souk dbara, and just a walking distance to Tangier beach. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed their Continental breakfast included with our booking fee, which was different each morning. All in all, we had a great experience staying in this hotel and will definitely stay here again😊😊😊

Excellent location in the medina. This hotel is great for a few nights, but not for an extended stay. Common areas and restaurant were clean and spacious. The rooms (triple room) was very small, and there was no housekeeping/cleaning offered. Front desk was very helpful, professional, and friendly. They helped with tours and taxis at a fair price. The restaurant located on the top floor was fantastic, excellent Moroccan food and service.

Mamora Bay is an outstanding accommodation. The entire staff: the reception team, concierges, housekeeping, and café staff, is remarkable, consistently kind, friendly, and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. The location is excellent, offering safety and easy access to various amenities. Everything is impeccably clean and well-maintained. I highly recommend staying here!

My experience at Hotel Maamoura was one of the best I’ve ever had. Everything about this place reflects exceptional quality and service. The food was absolutely delicious, and the breakfast was equally amazing. Every meal was prepared with great attention to detail, leaving me impressed every time. I would like to especially thank Zahra, Tarek, Aziz, Ismail, and Bou Shoukri for their outstanding service and kindness. They truly made my stay unforgettable with their warm hospitality and professionalism. As for the rooms, I can’t praise enough the cleanliness and organization I find every time. The bed is comfortable, and the atmosphere is quiet and perfect for relaxation. In short, Hotel Maamoura offers a wonderful experience that combines comfort, luxury, and exceptional service, making me want to return again and again.”

They received us with a nice cup of mint tea…Very nice staff a bottle of water and a bowl of fruit was waiting for us. It’s a confortable room, though small. It’s In the middle of the Medina, so it’s noisy late at night…. Oh yes a nice breakfast is included on the upper floor, Khalid the waiter is #1.

The Mamora Bay Hotel was excellent across the board, the impeccable service, the quality of hotel restaurant fare, the amenities offered in the rooms and it’s central location in the heart of the old city. One of the receptionists, Tarik, was kind enough to assist with recommending a reasonable time to depart for the airport prior to my flight. He and his colleagues are consistently courteous and professional, ensuring that my brief stay in this enchanting city was memorable. If you do decide to stay here, take the stairs up to the 3rd floor to the hotel restaurant, the waiters make a delicious Moroccan mint tea and the vistas of the city and the bay are unparalleled. Thank you.

Tarik and the front desk were absolutely wonderful. So helpful and hospitable and helped us plan excursions and camel rides at an amazing cost. So grateful for these experiences and for Tarik’s thoughtfulness to enhance our experience. If I get the chance to come back to Tangier I will absolutely be staying with them again.

Mamora Bay Hotel in Tangier is a delightful gem. Its prime location near the Marina port and the old medina makes it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. The rooms are a haven of calm and comfort, offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle. The dining experience is exceptional—every meal is a treat. As a passionate fan of this place, I can confidently say I will be returning soon. Highly recommended!
