Loved the food here. Every single dish is of high quality. I recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a french cuisine. The service is superb. There's not much variety for the main dish and dessert but we were quite satisfied with the food. The price is also reasonable. This restaurant truly worth the visit.

Loved my meal here! Menu changes weekly and is fully in french. The lovely wait staff patiently explained to us the menu in English. It was full house via reservation only so pls make reservation early! Saw them turn down a couple of walk-ins. It was a joy observing the flow of the two wait staff serving a full restaurant. Very smooth. Food was great too. Best meal in paris

I love coming to Mamou. It is now a stop off every time I am in Paris. Fresh seasonal menu, the owner explains the menu in great detail and possible in English which is very sweet. They also have the best bread on the table but remember to save room for their equally brilliant food. Friendly, no fuss, great food and location. What more can you ask for!

Mamou is French restaurant owned and run by Chef Monsieur Romain Lalu in central/northern Paris. His deputy is Julie who served as our main waitress tonight. Pros: In short, this is the best French restaurant in Paris. The food was tasty, impeccably presented, the flavours and combinations showed imagination yet everything was oh so tasty. Chef Romain's skill is evident everywhere. His technical abilities amazing! Service was tip top too! Julie knows the food and drinks menu flawlessly. She was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. The perfect waitress! We were also impressed that Chef Romain said hello to us and replies to emails himself! Amazing! Chef Romain is the tall friendly man with dark hair and glasses who is the really friendly yet knowledgeable man who wanders the floor of his restaurant. Great value for money! The food is far too tasty for the very reasonable prices on offer. Coms: None really. The only main suggestion is it would be nice if they could integrate their booking system with Google maps. That way, it would be easier for tourists to make a reservation. Top tip: Listen to Julie. Suggest you order what she suggests. She was right: the mushrooms in a cream sauce was the tastiest starter. The veal with risotto similarly amazing! The Pina colada was the favorite desert on our table tonight! In short, just go to Mamou. It's definitely the best French restaurant we have eaten at. And we'll definitely be back and again. Congratulations once again to Romain, Julie and rest of the Mamou team! Job well done! I definitely be back!

It almost feel like you are dining at your family’s place. Nothing fancy about the decor, very rustic but what you get is an incredibly welcoming experience where the chef takes pride in the meal he prepares for you. Almost everything is made from scratch, with seasonal ingredients and cooked to perfection, and taste so delicious! Be sure to come with an empty belly because the portions are huge. You must have the starters.. we ordered the gravlax and gambas which was out of this world. Highly recommend the veal - it’s done to pinky perfection served on a bed of creamy mashed potatoes that is elevated with earthy mushrooms that brings out the umami taste. Go for the beef tartare as it’s sooo fresh if you want something typically French. We were so full so ordered one dessert to share and they took the initiative to split it into two portions for us - this is first class service! They even went out of their way to keep the restaurant opened way past their opening hour so we can continue our conversation. Definitely a must to revisit!

It felt like authentic French food! Simply delicious. The hosts were very welcoming and explained the French menu for us. The place is not cheap, but it’s worth it.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant!!! Our waitress was lovely and food was amazing! She explained the daily menu to us in english and made sure we understood all of our options. Definitely make a reservation, and Romain is super accommodating while contacting - "avec plaisir":)

Yelp
Went due to Michelin recommendation, hugely disappointed! It has nothing about traditional French cooking but modern European food. Seafood, veal, pork etc. really normal food which can be found in other restaurant. Do not brother to check and to visit particularly.

Yelp
Such a lovely place. Food was delicious and staff was so kind and helpful. Nice atmosphere. It's obvious that the staff really enjoys their job. We would definitely go back if we lived here!

Yelp
Great quality and really friendly staff! The waitress re-wrote the menu in English for us. The menu appears to change as all the menus were written on a chalk board that they bring to your table. The food was very tasty and good quality. Very quaint decor and overall good experience - I would recommend.

Yelp
We were looking for a casual neighborhood restaurant in the heart of Paris and found Mamou through Yelp. What a treat! The place was very cozy and welcoming. Our hostess was delightful: friendly and fluent in English. The chef came out to greet us and talked us through several options of the dishes we ordered, even changed up the menu a bit to accommodate our cravings. Finally, the wine here was AMAZING! It was a wonderful experience and we will be back whenever we are in Paris again.

Yelp
Very friendly people, great service and everything was fantastic. We truly enjoyed our last meal in Paris and wish we had discovered Mamou earlier in our trip. Look forward to going back!!

Yelp
Great meal! We arrived in late afternoon, it was packed but we returned 20 min later and were able to get a table. I had the lunch menu with an amazing veal dish and duck gizzard salad. I would never try gizzard but it was to late by the time I found out what it was, wasn't bad when you eat it with the salad and some wine, a little rich but a new interesting experience. The veal was one of the best dishes if my life, great sauce and the mashed potatoes were also amazing. Wifey had the cod which was also amazing... Great friendly staff, the friendliest we've had on our whole trip. No complaints, decently priced around 20 euro per person/entree
