On the plus sides, the place does large, hearty portions of pierogi the way your Polish grandmother would cook them (i.e. filling, doughy goodness with insane quantities of sour cream on the side), and the prices are not bad at all. Some of the fillings need a bit of seasoning, but it's perfectly filling, hearty food. There's also an ordering system not dissimilar to putting a prescription in, where you wait with your number to go and collect your pierogi, which can be fun to watch the numbers tick by.
In terms of the decor, it's very trendy in style (it's an arch with a very bare, canteen tables kind of vibe) which, while atmospheric in that trendy post-apocalyptic style, is a really weird juxtaposition with 'home-cooked' dumplings... It's not an ambient enough a place that I'd go on a family/date kind of outing, but pierogi is not really a grab and go kind of food so I'm a bit confused about its purpose as a restaurant...
That said, if you happened to be tipsy in the area and needed some delicious homely dumplings to soak up the spare beer, this would hit the spot!
