Mặn Mòi, Tao Đàn - 34 Võ Văn Tần

We visited Mặn Mòi, Tao Đàn while traveling through Vietnam and happened to be in Ho Chi Minh City for a friend’s birthday. The reservation process was really smooth and friendly — we even received a nice confirmation by email, which we appreciated. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere felt warm and inviting. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed, and we also liked the little shop on the ground floor. After dinner, we had a short and very nice chat with the General Manager Phuong Vu, which made the evening feel even more personal. Definitely a lovely spot for great food in the heart of the city.

A very beautiful setting for lunch or dinner. We booked a table online for dinner, and it was very convenient. The entire place is full of surprises and is great for taking photos. The service was excellent from the time you get off the car to your table. The only disappointment is the food is not as great as I expected. However, the presentation of the food was excellent. Again great for photos. We ordered grilled chicken and duck breast, they were both either overcooked or dry / tough. Overall, it is still a great place to spend an evening.

This place is magical! I stumbled upon it before I went to the war museum, and it was definitely a high end restaurant! I spent about 40 AUD which is a lot more than a street meal, but the experience was so fun and good to treat yourself. They greeted me so nice and took care of everything for me. Hand towel, clearing my table and getting food to me so beautifully. The food was delicious!! Try the pork skewers, my fav. An amazing vibe and atmosphere while visiting sai gon.

I was recommended by my hotel, La Passion Hotel Saigon, and it was sooo good I went back on a second day for lunch. My server, Ms Truc, was really helpful and her food recommendations greatly appreciated and extremely delicious. It's a beautiful decorated building, over 3 floors with elevator, with a shop on the ground floor paying homage to local Vietnamese products. I would have returned for dinner but this little gem is very solidly booked. I'd recommend reserving a table in advance, it'll be worth the planning. My compliments to the staff and the very attentive duty manager who made my dining experience so enjoyable, thank you.

Had lunch here today and it was one of the most delicious meals I’ve had during my Saigon trip. Ordered the two-style duck breast, grilled pork, and shrimp rolls all fresh, flavorful, and beautifully served. The place feels cozy and green, with a relaxing scent and unique design. Staff were kind, attentive, and gave honest advice on portions; rare and much appreciated. A refreshing, high-quality dining spot. Definitely recommend!

I saw this restaurant in the afternoon by chance on the motorbike and heard from a friend it was a lovely place to dinner. So that's what I did. I came by in the evening around 8pm. But didn't realised it was popular on Saturday night and was fully booked. I waited around and luckily there was a cancellation and we were seated shortly after. The front of house staff was attentive and very kind. Once seated, we were greeted by a young waiter with a big smile. He explained the menu and recommended some dishes. We ordered for 2 people: * Ambarella Salad With Crispy River Anchovies. * Sticky rice with Tam Kỳ chicken and wild mushroom. * Deep fried spring rolls. * Stir-fried spinach bud with chives. * Green jelly with coconut milk and palm syrup. * Toddy palm sweet soup cold. The atmosphere was nicely regulated, great ambience for an evening dinner. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal here. The staff maintain a smile throughout the evening and provided a great service which is memorable.

the restaurant is so well setup! downstairs is like a boutique gift shop and restaurants upstairs. very nice decor with such good atmosphere too! the food was amazing too! very tasty and so much flavour! food prices are on the high side and service could be a little bit more attentive and helpful, rather than focusing on one particular table tho.

Had a wonderful experience dining here! Our server, Trung Nguyen, was super helpful and explained all the dishes to us. The architecture is stunning and each dish was delicious. Our highlight dish was the rambutan snakehead fish salad! Super refreshing and only available when rambutan is in season.
