Mana Island Resort & Spa - Fiji

This place is an absolute gem! The snorkeling on both sides of the island was beyond incredible. While exploring and hunting for Survivor filming locations, we unexpectedly discovered a beautiful beach near the backpacker area. We decided to snorkel there and were blown away by the stunning coral reefs and vibrant fish. From the beach, it’s hard to imagine such a magnificent reef just a short distance away. It was fascinating to watch as the SEG team set up locations for the Survivor show — watching the island transform into a Hollywood set was a real treat.||The staff at the resort are nothing short of exceptional. They’re incredibly kind, hardworking, and genuinely wonderful people. The food was absolutely delicious, though I do wish guests would remember to use the provided utensils rather than eating with their fingers. We stayed in the beachside Villa, Room 302, and it was perfect. The room featured a huge deck that wrapped around, offering the most amazing views. The room itself was a little worn, but the island and remarkable staff made up for that. Huge shout out to the young man who works at the beach in the snorkeling shop.||My only negative was that there is no free WiFi. But having said that, sometimes it’s just nice being cut off from the rest of the world. Makes you really relax.

Phenomenal experience! They go out of their way for guest comfort. Delicious food, friendly attentive staff and helpful service and diverse activities for all guests. Buffets were plentiful and scrumptious and money well spent. Evening entertainment relaxing and welcoming. Gorgeous views from our oceanview room. Really loved our stay. Definitely returning. Me and my family had an absolute blast at Mana Island resort. Staff were lovely, food consistently good with plenty of high quality options. Snorkeling equipment, kaiaks available at all times for no extra charge, along with enough activities to keep us busy during our stay. Rooms could possibly be upgraded, but you get what you paid for, and we had no major issues at all regarding that. Would definitely recommend Mana Island resort and will surely be back again sometime soon.

I had been concerned about booking to stay here as there were many mixed reviews. However we had a really pleasant stay and would highly recommend booking for families for the space of the rooms and price point. ||We enjoyed the space of the room Deluxe Ocean View Bure in the numbers 400s . Good view from the deck out to the grass and ocean in front. Although the style was older and the bathroom could be upgraded, everything was clean and included two beds and a sofa bed for our family of 2 adults 2 children. This bure was a good location from the pool and restaurants. ||The pool area has been retiled, and pool was a great design and depth for older primary aged kids. ||We enjoyed the air-conditioned games room, tennis courts and hiring inhouse bikes to cycle the entire resort . ||The buffet food quality was very good compared to other buffet resorts i have experienced in fiji, and the staff are very pleasant and helpful. ||Thank you Mana for a lovely stay

Buffet 5/5 Location 5/5 Rooms 3.5/5 Service 5/5 We had an ocean view unit. Large and spacious. Our only complaint was the mattress was old and firm. Awesome 1 stop shop if you love onshore snorkeling, scuba diving and cocktails by the pool/beach. We had a ball, not sure on the negative reviews, they're are resorts for double the price. You pay for what you get. Staff were awesome through out the resort, very personal and professional.

BE AWARE BEFORE BOOKING We stayed with a luxury escapes package and had a mixed experience. The food was fantastic—easily the highlight of our trip. The buffet was fresh, varied, and consistently delicious. Unfortunately, the resort itself is very dated and in need of serious upgrades. We paid extra for an oceanfront villa, which was dirty on arrival and only cleaned after we complained. Even then, it was in poor condition and should not be rented out in its current state. We also had to argue over our final bill, despite being given a printed list at check-in showing what was included in our package. Staff later denied some of those inclusions, which was frustrating and unprofessional. While the location is beautiful and the food excellent, the overall experience fell short. We wouldn’t return unless major improvements are made.

Overall resort experience is good, but there was ants in room in beachfront Bure, location is beautiful. They only make one vegetarian option in mains- that will only made of eggplant like eggplant potato curry, stir fry egg plant, eggplant lasagna. They have different cusine theme daily, there is lot of dishes available each day but not suitable for vegan or vegetarian. So we had to eat starters and salad every day. People/ staff are very kind and nicer, hospitality is great.

We stayed for 5 days at Mana. What an awesome experience of relaxation and quality family time. Delicious food and amazing activities from snorkelling to the hiking to breathtaking lookout points watching sunrise and sunset.||Just amazing!!
