Manacá Restaurante

Big plus for the location in the middle of the Atlantic forest. You walk over the wooden boardwalk in the midst of green to the restaurant. The restaurant is open, it has no windows, so you are basically sitting outside. It is cozy. The location is the best part. The food was good but it was not outstanding and definitely I missed some typical Brazilian/Bahian influence what I was expecting. The service is adequate but could be more engaged. Price level is (too) high for this place.

Love the ambiance and the food—very traditional, and the service is excellent. Just don’t forget to spray some mosquito repellent before going!

This restaurant has the most fantastic ambience and vibe. It is basically situated in a foresty garden. The staff are extremely attentive and passionate about the food. The place has a great history, the head chef has his own book which customers can enjoy. Chef Maria who is trained by the head chef is fantastic and cookes the food with deep flavour to perfection. The focaccia is amazing!!! I urge you to visit this place, it was certainly my favourite restaurant in Camburi.

Food was amazing, fresh, flavored and really tasteful. Price is a bit spicy but it worths every penny. Definitely I’ll go back!

High price, but fair for food quality, service, and ambiance. Everything was excellent and I would. Love to go back. Highly recommended for a memorable lunch or dinner.

Just overpriced. The plates and the beverages costs are above the limit for the quality served. We ordered a Boulavardier for 54 reais (not a fair price even in fancy places) and a fish in banana leaf for 170 reais. The total account was approximately 500 reais, not worthy. The staff was kind, no queues or reservation with a good atmosphere. But with the price they work I cannot recommend even for the people looking for status.
