Mandala House

Lovely hotel. Check in was really easy (just a tip they don't take card only cash but no real problem) Room was lovely, huge and the bed was really comfy. Bathroom a good size and had a big bath in it and also a lovely little balcony. Laundry service available at hotel which was really easy and same sort of price as surrounding area. Pool is small with no sun loungers just chairs and was in the shade in the afternoon but again this was okay as I was here to explore the city. Really close and within easy walking distance to all local amenities including the night bazaar. Had a very nice stay here.

Of all the places I stayed on a weeks-long SE Asia trip, the room I stayed here smelled the most strongly of mildew. I would not recommend if you are sensitive to that, I had to leave after one night. It was also very shabby. When I asked to move to another room they told me there wasn’t anything available even though there was vacancy on multiple websites. Also the older guy and woman are rude at the front desk - wouldn’t even look up at me when I was asking them a question and checking in. The young guy tries his best. The pool did look refreshing and clean, but I didn’t have a chance to use it.

Location is great. Also importantly for me is the free parking. Need to walk a bit but parking is hard at city center. Facility is as expected. Nothing fancy, functional. For the price I was not expecting a lot. Read review before booking, had some concerns but turned out well. Maybe owner changed? Anyways overall a very good stay, will book again.

A hotel nightmare, great feeling of insecurity. They already warn that the hostel is not responsible for thefts inside the rooms, very hard beds, better to sleep on the floor. The pool is a puddle two palms deep. and at reception not at all polite. Only interested in "money"||100% Not recommended

Great little hotel just outside of old city. Short walk or tuck-tuck to many sites. Very attentive staff to any needs and information. A special shout out to Tommy for all the little extras he did without being asked for. Rooms are a nice size and clean. Variety of bed options. Great to have the pool to cool off in. Priced right.

Honestly our favourite place we've stay in thailand! The staff are above and beyond with their helpfulness (special thanks to Tommy). The room are clean and beautiful! A perfect place for friends and families to enjoy the view, the pool and the friendly atmosphere!

A nice guesthouse/Hotel in the middle of down town Chiang Mai just off Loi kroh road , older style rooms but clean , aircon was great, lovely pool as well , staff happy and helpful :) just a short walk to the main bar area, Restaurants and also Tha Phae Gate and the moat . I will definitely stay here again when I am in Chiang Mai

Location is good. Night markets and Sunday market are within walking distance. Lots of massage shops at reasonable price are found nearby. The hotel operator is very nice. We arrived in the morning and he let us check-in early. The hotel is a bit old but it is clean and tidy. For this price, we really have no complaint. But I suggest them to install a shower curtain in the washroom so as to avoid water splashing all over.
