This place is an absolute haven for collectors and watch enthusiats. Must come. Even gachapons have a lot more variety than Sunshine City mall and Asakusa. Walk till you drop!

Mandrake has a good number of themed stores within the Broadway mall in Nakano specializing from Card collecting to figurines. They have a much broader selection than anywhere in the core of Tokyo. We found want we were looking for and would highly recommend.

This place was awesome. As a foreign tourist I didn't hear much about this place but saw a vague reference to it as a good place to get watches. Getting there was very easy and when I got there I was blown away by the huge range of collectibles stores and watch stores with really good deals. I could have a whole day walking the floors of this place and one day will come back.

Huge hobby store in the Broadway gallery. Every collector can find his dream, thay have everything related to anything that can be collected in the japanese objects from the 1950's to today. I always find nice items here. Today was 3 1:64 cars for my collection.

A collector heaven, filled with multiple collectible toy stores and watches. It was very easy to get to, you can just use traub and stop at Nakano Station, right after you go out of the station, it is in-front of you.

A lot of anime figuring at level 2 and 3, worth to visit for 1-2 hours of spare time

The staff here are super lovely and helpful. Would definitely recommend coming here if you like handmade jewellery and accessories from local artists.

It's very narrow but everything in Japan is narrow so just walk on your side like a crab and enjoy it

Yelp
There is something really special about the Mandarake in Nakano Broadway. It's like walking into a huge department store where every store front is dedicated to a specific manga/anime/toy culture, but it feels like its own shop. My friend and I were on the hunt for a few old franchises and we were shocked at how easy it was to locate a dedicated storefront for each. The area didn't feel as crowded as their locations in Shibuya or Akiba especially, so it allows for a more leisure shopping experience. You'll definitely spend at least an hour or two to just get your bearings straight before you dive deeper into spending that money. Keep in mind that some places are cash only (especially those with collectibles), so be sure to have some on hand. Once you're done, enjoy the many restaurants that are inside and outside the store.

Yelp
In Japan, when it comes to used anime, manga and toys, Mandarake is one of Tokyo's most well-known stores to visit. While there are stores that people can find in Shibuya, Ikebukuro, Akihabara, Osaka, Utsunomiya, Sapporo, nagoya, Umeda, Kokura and Fukuoka (and at one point, there was a store in Torrance, California), the Mandarake that I visit is in Nakano Broadway. In fact, Mandarake was established in 1987 in Nakano Broadway and it's a store that you can often see many people standing around visiting and perusing manga. Mandarake is no doubt a great place for people to get inexpensive toys and used manga, but you can also find idol-related material for cheap! But for the most part, a lot of inexpensive souvenirs can be found at Nakano Broadway but Mandarake is no doubt a place one should visit first, if you are a fan of anime, manga and video games.

Yelp
Came here specifically for unique transformers and they did not disappoint! There are vintage, limited edition, takara tomy, and Japanese transformers I've never seen before. The prices are lower than anything you'll find on eBay because your cutting out the shipping costs. I came up on a "Nightwatch convoy" which is a dark navy and grey Optimus prime. It was out of box so I got it at a fraction of the mint unopened price. There's something for every transformer fan and I'm sure you'll find a treasure here!
