I stayed for 3 nights. The room was far from my expectations. The furniture was old and in need of repair, my TV didn't work and there was no option to do any work in the room as there was no desk or table. The weird thing was the washbasin wasn't in the bathroom it was in the bedroom, and there was no mirror meaning having a shave was a challenge. The rooms are located about 80m up the road from reception and swimming pool and are located above a bar/restaurant. I paid 3,270B for the room and breakfast wasn't included but in my honest opinion I have stayed in much better hotels for the same or less money. The room was clean, the view was nice as I overlooked the sea and the bed was nice and comfortable. The Aircon was good and cleaning/room service good. The stay was okay but I wouldn't return.

Lovely little Lodge with a pool, bar and good location! Rooms were nice with aircon, we had a living room area too. Drinking water provided daily. Rooms could have been a little more clean however, lots of dust everywhere.

False advertising wasted all of our time stating on their booking platforms such as booking.com that pets are allowed then they tell us they're not. Thank God we checked first instead of arriving after an hours long journey with no place to stay. Update to the owner's response: That's incorrect. Firstly booking.com offers the ability to specify pets are either allowed or not allowed, which is how customers will obviously filter their search, hence why you waste people's time. Furthermore, it's also not mentioned at all in the description. Finally, what a strange and arbitrary cutoff, 7kg. So 8kg is just too much? What a strange idea to discriminate against pets based on weight and then also falsely advertise that all pets are allowed. Do you also discriminate against your guests by weight? What a strange idea.

A unique oasis of tranquility. Spacious rooms, great swimming pool in the cozy backyard, lovely staff.

Location is pretty good. Pool lovely. Quiet location. Close to eateries and short walk to markets. Pleasant staff.

We found the Mandarin when we were walking around the area looking for alternative accommodation as what we originally booked didn’t meet our needs. |We were able to secure a superior room with air and fan. The pool was a big plus for us as we used it daily. |The bed was not the greatest though and rather hard and the bedding had seem better days. But we were provided four pillows as requested so grateful for that. |The cleaning staff were excellent and very friendly. Reception staff very helpful when we were looking for a new hotel and let us view the property. |This hotel has the potential of being exceptional with a bit of elbow grease by the owner. |Room 17 toilet was built on a platform about 18” high. This was quite dangerous without a grab bar. I suspect the reason was a plumbing issue, so again, with a bit of maintenance the hotel would be great. |We liked the location as it was walkable to Hua Hin beach and the 100 baht beach chairs. A kettle is provided.

It’s very poor and not best situated. You have to be 5ft tall to be able to walk up the stairs without hitting your head not ideal when the bathroom is downstairs. The pictures of the pool are not accurate. Better places near and cheaper. Cat mess outside my door this morning. Because of the stairs I had to sleep on single bed I’ve slept on more comfortable camp beds. This is the first time I’ve made a bad comment.

We had a very nice stay here. Friendly staff, clean rooms. Excellent location within walking distance of both the beach and the night market. Lots of dining options nearby too. We also rented a motorcycle which was in very good condition. Would definitely stay here again, fantastic value for money:)
